if you referring to me, it aint me in the video. Just stumbled across it on the internet Would be fun though haha
  2. just start replacing the bushes with adjustable ones. ie. front/rear camber, castor, power steering rack bushes, subframe locking bushes. Bundle that with some swaybars and a decent wheel alignment and car will be handling like its on rails Id get swaybars first, see how the car feels/handles and then start replacing bushes (if needed)
  3. internet is serious business
  4. have you already upgraded your swaybars? They do the most in handling. Best bang for buck for handling. You will definitely notice a difference with new swaybars.
  5. not a good pad for daily. Killed my brand new rotors in 30,000km. They squeal because they arent up to operating temps and eat through the rotors really badly. I did fix the squealing during regular driving by properly bedding them in on the freeway.
  6. My stock thermostat is 75deg and with my 52mm radiator wont go under the thermostat value. If his is stock thermostat and getting 62degrees, thats a big drop from 75deg~?
  7. QFM HPX, under $100 for a pair. Trader on forum. Do not recommend for track work. Glazed them after a couple of laps
  8. I thought water temperatures cant go below the thermostat value as that is when it opens/closes? Check what temperature value is your thermostat. Else, you could have a stuck thermostat and hence why it takes forever to warm up. My friend had the same issue with his car. He would need to thrash the hell out of it, just so it got up to halfway on the temp gauge. Replaced the thermostat and warms up quickly.
  9. +1
  10. lol funny you say that considering you are the one who arched up when I provided helpful advice
  11. cool story bro lrn 2 english
  12. wtf are you two on about. The r32 does not have a boost solenoid. Only the r33 does. Pull out the bleed valve and reconnect the hose. Not rocket science. A single hose from the actuator to the turbo. Done. Epic lol if you posted up a WTB thread for a r32 boost solenoid. May as well ask for headlight fluid.

haha so whats the answer to the question in the vid? How close was it really to the towtruck
  14. Hello, After some URAS NS-01 17x9 +30 (preferably a pair) Silver in colour. No Driftek crap, URAS only. (best way to tell is that URAS only are 5 stud and not multi) Melbourne would be ideal but happy to pay for postage. Let me know what you got! Cheers
  15. Cant say Im surprised. Hopefully he reports them to the cops
  16. Doesnt matter where you tee off on that hose, its all the same shit. Did you manage to get the hose through the firewall? Pull off the inner guard liner on the drivers side. Find the black gromet and work it through there. Best is to get a long rod of some type, tie the vacuum hose onto it and push it through until it pops out near the pedals (obviously take off the drivers kickpanel etc
  17. told ya it wasnt a vacuum leak last night
  18. wtf you on about? Where the fark are you trying to hook it up? Behind the intake manifold is a black hose running to the standard boost sender unit (mounted on the firewall)). Tee into that hose...there is no other t-piece?!?!! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/122508-r32-boost-gauge-install/page__hl__boost+controller
  19. haha
  20. so it wasnt a vacuum leak afterall?
  21. paint it orange
  22. haha what you expect? To drive around below 2000rpm? This aint a V8. The engine was designed to rev out. Hell, the redline is 7700rpm afterall. If you are after more response, sell off the turbo and replace with a HKS2530. Comes on boost at 3800rpm~ and will give you max power of 210kw~ Else, live with it and rev out to 4000-5000rpm between shifts. My r32 has an average fuel economy of 11.5Ltrs/100km~ Work out if yours is similar. if you take the car on the track, you wont be seeing under 4000rpm anyways, so decide what the plan with the car is and start to change whatever you dont like.
  23. you must be missing a hose if its idling at 4000rpm!
  24. does it only happen when cold? unplug the IAC plug and see if the idle changes.
  25. would a vacuum leak cause the car to idle so high up? Most times a vacuum leak causes a hunting idle (around 800 - 1000rpm) Dont know much about GTR engines so cant help
