i talked to a mechanic today that works at ford, and he says the f6 has 14 psi stock, and strengthened internals but then you would think it would pull more than 270kw at engine with that much boost so i dunno but yeh now they've got the better gearbox they're a hsv killer

i'm pretty sure turismo is like the german word for touring, so either is good

if i'm not mistaken the r30 skyline came with an fj20, then the r31 got an rb, also what did the model before the r30 look like?

just imported picked up my car about a week ago, and noticed the wheels are 18x9.5 on the back and 18x8.5 on the front now i know that it affects the attessa system somewhat, but it has the same tires on all round, and was wondering how much it makes a difference. also it has like a different smaller grey tag thing stuck with double sided tape, (the same that all aftermarket wheels have) which says 10 all round, wtf? why would they put that there?

thanks guys, i'm pretty sure i got one of the "other" lines, although there was a scrunched up kiwi sticker in the car i picked it up at rozelle, sydney i used cgl, and the only reason it turned out ok was that i rang him like everyday to get updates and what not we almost got knocked back from hobbs, because we only got the car there at 12, but i gave brendan a fifty and he did it like straight away. sorry to hear about ur wheels lucien, hopefully they turn up. there were like 4 r34 gtr's at the dock and man they were fat, one with harlequin paint, and some sort of rays wheels, but hobbs seemed to be overrun with supra's :uhh:

i'd say it was damaged in storage, like parked under a tree with weird sap or something, but apart from that i love it, even the key is cool

gtr=owned!!, picked it up from the docks today, and to my dismay the paint has shat itself in like 4 different places, and is safe to say it needs a respray(candy red here we come) the main thing i was worried about was things being stolen out of the car, but nothing gone so all good, even the remote for the stereo is still there.

i almost bought a purple cefiro but it was from the yahoo auctions which means the supplier can't look at it and ur relying on this jap dudes description of it who owns it, so there could be no engine for all u know, so yeh i didn't get it

i got a stock one, mainly cos i couldn't afford anymore (oiginally going for a cefiro) but if i did have the money, i think i would do the same because theres more chance of buying a lemon but anyway i'll be able to say in about 5 days if it was a good idea or not cos thats when it lands (about bloody time).

how do u mean the heater iis disconnected? isn't it all one system? u could take the reinforcements off the front and rear bars, but wouldn't recommend as would minimise crash zone, don't think theres much in the engine bay, but i agree with predator, power is so easy in skylines y not just buy go fast bits

more like yes than no, just search cos i dunno, poly pretty easy just unbolt, bolt in immovable replacement, not exactly sure where to get them, but performance shops bound to have them, or if u have a welder just weld 2 plates to a rod

there's not a whole lot u can do for free unless u want to take seats and trims out, get a bar to lock out the hicas, saves aboutr 20kgs i think if u wanted to go crazy then u could go cutting things, but then it wouldn't be street legal anymore
