  5. I have been driving my car for the last week or so with no splash gurds inside the wheel arches. Adelaide has been stupidly wet as well and now i had water come trough and soak my alarm module, wich is located behind the drivers side kickpanel This has damaged the little actuator that locks my doors on arm, ths in turn has rendered my alarm useles as well since i does not arm properly now. The alarm is a viper 650vx , who can help me out in finding a new actuator ie where i can buy a new one. I didnt have the alarm instaled it came with the car so i have no idea where it was bought from Thanks people
  6. the paint we have here is fine as long as the probr stuff is used. Problem is crash shops use cheap shit so that the profits are up. I occasionaly buy paint and for base coat 2pak group 4 pay approx 180 per liter the stuff they use is prob about 80 bucks home brand crap

Go to your local DSE and pick up a learning remote about 39 bucks, open it up using the supplied screwdriver place the jumper on it and hold it next to the original remote hold down the appropriate buttons and voila it learns the code. 17. I know i might be repeating the people above but it really sounds like a thrust bearing issue had a similar problem on an import gemini, turned out the spring that holds the bearing had come off and lodged itself between the fork and bearing, thus always making it touch the pressure plate. Mind you my problem ended with a screech squeel yelp and than bang as the pressure plate disintigrated the thrust bearing, in amongst other things. Pull of the g/box and check it and its not that much of a bitch if you gotta pit/hoist. there is 6 bolts holding the box on the bellhousing 4 holding the tail shaft 4 bolts mounting the box disconect the slave cyilinder and yank out the shifter. Ohhhh and don't forget to drain the oil. ooo and trhe starter motor 2 bolts holding that one Hope it helps
  18. Peepz, the 32 is off the road (met mr tree @ a severe angle) so in amongst rebuillding the front end i was wondering if there is a way to hook up the current Viper alarm to the factory power windows so that they wind up on the alarm being armed. I know the central locking works on the negative trigger would the windows work in a simillar fashion. I have seen this on a friends Daewoo  using a Cheetah alarm and an aftermarket power windows setup. Thx people.
