  1. Yep, the gasket provided is all you need. And I disagree with Marko, there are stupid questions....but yours was not one of them. I just couldn't resist the temptation to be idiotic
  2. It is 10kg. Some scales will say 9.9 but they are the ones my missus uses
  3. The answer is no
  4. You won't make 400kw unless you do
  5. The ID's were purchased directly from Injector dynamics both times by my customers. They came with the ID spec and flow sheet also. There are also no difference between the ID's and the Bosch injectors except for the fact ID apparently dead time test their injectors and Bosch don't. Bosch are still flow matched and flow the same. I don't see the point in paying extra for the same product. We have seen the spray pattern on both and cannot tell the difference
  6. We only used two sets, both times the car wouldn't start. We had to run them through the injector bath twice before they came up good. We had the same with a Bosch injector once also. That's why we clean all injectors before use now. They aren't bad injectors. Not a single injector on this planet can be cleaned and flowed, then sit for a month and still have its company guarantee its perfection. We've never had lean out issues with the pencil type 1600's. Any time we've had an injector issue with a Bosch injector (ID's included) they were fixed with a clean so we never had to return any.
  7. Oh and I laugh in the face of $140+ an injector
  8. Or you could all stop falling for the sales hype and buy genuine bosch injectors. And before you think you are going to reply with all kinds of flow matched this and dead time tested that, crap, it's bullshit. We've had two brand new sets of genuine ID's not work straight out of the packet. ALL INJECTORS should be flow matched precisely 5 minutes before you put them in and start the car for the first time. and EFI Performance do all our dead time testing at the same time.
  9. Nissan refer to them as rocker covers. Although you are right and they are not rocker covers, they are cam covers. Technically sideways2010 isn't incorrect in referring to them as that
  10. You need to get laid
  11. WOAH!, headspin No it doesn't change the duration, yes it does adjust the LSA.
  12. Plazmaman make extremely high quality parts for people who want to be competitive. They have been in business for a long time and will be in business for the same reason they still are now - they provide a high quality product that suits a small market - A SMALL MARKET. I get 100 people a year turn up at my shop with Greddy copy plenums on. Greddy certainly held the market for a very long time with that market - enough to milk it for everything it was worth and when the copies start coming out, the companies that have survived in the past and will survive tomorrow will already have their next product ready to come out for the next new model
  13. The coil bind height is about 0.380" (9.65mm) but you should always leave 0.040" as a safety margin. Even though they say 9mm lift, do you know what the actual valve lift is? I assume it's somewhere around 8.7mm-9mm. I know Tomei do an 8.8mm Pro cam but they do suggest springs. Think about it this way: If you break a spring and drop a valve, how much is your engine worth to you? Put better springs in it. I recommend Supertech
  14. They will make a fortune because it will probably work and not cost $2500
  15. They are identical in every dimension The only difference is the HKS casting on the HKS comp cover
  16. You cannot put a Tomei cam gear on and keep your VCT. In fact, a Tomei cam gear won't attach to the front of the RB25 Inlet cam.
  17. +1 ....but, They will make more hp than the -7 due to the larger trim on the comp. And a -5 might be too big for him
  18. Thanks guys. I appreciate the feedback.
  19. Before driving anywhere or getting the car warm, pump the clutch pedal several times and see if it gets better. Sounds like you have a hydraulic problem. Master or slave cylinder but it is better to do both
  20. That statement is more incorrect than 10 incorrect things
  21. You're fixing the wrong thing Fix the breathing problem your engine has, not the oil pumping thing it's supposed to do
  22. Your oil pressure is fine don't touch it
