  1. You should ask streeter if he can send each wheel via EMS one at a time. You will pay a tiny bit more but avoid custom duties
  2. Brandon: Wheels of choice for your car would be Gold Gramlight 57Pro, Gold GTC or White LMGT's Don't forget that you will pay around 20% more when you go to pick it up from the docks in custom duties and GST. Also, even if the rate on xe.com says 85yen, the rate the bank will be paying is only going to be 82yen and you have to minus 2 yen on his side also. So if xe.com says 85yen then expect to be paying at approx 80yen and $1800 will actually cost you an extra $360 to pick up when it lands
  3. 10 hours give or take without complications to do it properly.
  4. Lol, you haven't done anything. Colin will explain. I have a fairly dry sense of humour.
  5. Josh needs company if you want to mend that broken heart?
  6. Let's take a minute to review what has been said. Smity: I hat sloppy seconds Dan: Sounds like something that someone with a small dick would say Smity: Blah blah, something-or-other, blah Astro: Dan wins I think we've gotten all we need out of this
  7. What! It's true. I don't worry about sloppy seconds coz it always feels like a 19yo virgin to me
  8. Sounds like something that someone with a small dick would say.
  9. It has to do with shaft speed. The bigger turbo flows more air. Boost is only a biproduct of the restriction present in your engine. Considering the restriction doesn't change, the larger turbo has a slower shaft speed to generate the same airflow that the previous turbo did, therefore, there is less load on the bigger turbo
  10. Search? Don't be silly. He might find the answer
  11. Ring me if you want to find out how to stall them for up to 12 months
  12. Ok! Just puttin it out there that I'm a big fan of Miranda Kerr
  13. +1 for Toowong Car Electrics. Sean taught me most of the fundamentals I know about Auto Electrical. f**k the price, get the job done right!
  14. The code will show up even if you have disconnected it with the IGN on. Clear the codes and see if it returns. Some people will tell you the codes are self clearing. The fact is, they don't always do what they are supposed to. If the code comes back you need to perform checks to determine the cause. Continuity checks from the sensor to the ECU and resistance checks of the sensor and power checks to the sensor.
  15. I've got a 4 foot long one here I reckon would fit you nicely
  16. Wasn't the question 'Is Magnatec ok to use?' not 'What oil do you recommend?'
  17. Big bucks? It costs about $100-$150 to get a whole new cable made to the exact length you need. Try passing a roadworthy with a clamped cable.
  18. Put a decent glob of grease under it (on the bronze side) and it will stick nicely so it won't drop off
  19. Yeah it is. You will need to pull off the reverse gear side. There is another one that looks the same but it has a tab sticking out the side which points towards the sandwich plate to locate it in that reverse shaft. It goes on the third shaft that slots into the housing. Make sure you put the bronze side towards the gear (away from the bearing) Any questions, send a pic of the back side of the gearset and I'll circle where it goes
  20. Too bad. You're going to have to take it from 4000-8000 instead
  21. Then you won't need a GT51R. A 3788 or 4088 will do the job and give you good response. Any reason for wanting boost at 4800-5000rpm? You need the turbo to match your stall converter, so the 4088 is pretty much spot on
  22. How much hp are you chasing is probably the more appropriate question? If you want 600-700hp at the wheels then pick a GT3788 or GT4088. You should see 1 bar at 3800-4000 on the 37 and about 4200-4500 on the 40. If you want 700-800hp then you will need minimum GT42 or above. Things start to get complicated after that and a lot of questions need to be asked.
