  1. Thanks. Might give them a call.
  2. Who is Kyle?
  3. Thanks Christian. All good.
  4. Has it posted a time at EC before?
  5. Haha. No probs. I appreciate the feedback. We have considered what you're talking about. We have to modify the manifold anyway now so we will probably do what Troy has suggested with moving the gate closer (easier now that we are getting a tial coz they're smaller), but we are planning on running about 18psi so the 44 should hopefully do the job. Thinking about the path of least resistance and looking at the 1.06 housing vs the wastegate pipe, it's easy to see why the gasses want to flow through the turbo even having to spin the thing! Might be why people go the the lengths of twin gates on twin scroll setups I guess. I think what you said above about 0-1psi would be true with a smaller housing.
  6. Any update on the problem? I'm realising how handing the 'my content' function is!
  7. It's a 1.06 rear housing the flange is T4 so it's probably not like your setups. It's a pretty free exhaust housing. The wastegate must have a 7psi spring. Holds 7psi up to 5500 rpm then it spikes so it's opening fine but just isn't flowing enough. The pipe may also be too long like you said Troy. Thanks for the info! I should be able to get a Tial 44mm for just under $400 trade price locally.
  8. Bit of a set back with tuning. The HKS 38mm wastegate didn't flow enough so the boost is not controllable from 5.5k up. Even with the wastegate removed and just dumping straight out we got 10psi boost! That goes to show how good the big housing and flowing exhaust are! We'll probably be going to a Tial 44mm gate now. That means more exhaust modifications.... Unfortunately that puts me out for Deca next sat Next planned debut might be winton on 13th June.
  9. Slicks I assume? I wonder how it would go with semi's?
  10. haha nah i'm talking about my TURBS UTE!!! Serously though... It might keep a few skylines honest haha.
  11. Bump for a proven and effective wing!
  12. Bike mart in Ringwood is pretty good. Motorbike stuff is rarely cheap.
  13. Not really. There are plenty of 220-230rwkw cars out there... I could always drive the ute...?
  14. So my 32 is out. His 38mm gate wasn't big enough to control the boost so bit too much to do to make next sat. The question is... Who will let me drive their car?
  15. Now for the custom exhaust. This thing is a piece of art! This was custom built by Ace Workshop and I'm very impressed by the look and sound of it! We had a broken AFM sensor wire that cought us out but when we got it running we were very happy with the sound of it Tomorrow it is hitting the rollers!!!
  16. So an update... The HKS oil cooler and relo is now all connected. It takes a lot of oil now! Only thing left to do is a bit of guarding and ducting. The GTX-3076r is in place with all intercooler piping made by Ace workshop and standard GTR BOV hiding under the front left. Few more... Catch can in place.
  17. If they're new you shouldn't have any issues with customs. On sydney roads it would be even worse!
  18. nah
  19. I'd like to grab either a Small or Med. I'll see ya there.
  20. yeah we'll be testing it on the dyno to see what effect it has.
