Hi Matty No your probably thinking of one of my boys (black with low drift wing and big shiny pimp wheels) the other has a 180. mine has benn off the road for a time as i did the oil pump so its coming out next week with a new moter. mines ford acid rush (a sort of pearl yellow gold) with a big double carbon fibre t wing. it was black when i first got it five years ago. (it actually looks more like my avitar) as for this picture thingy I need to give them about 3 weeks notice and I have been told gosford railed the outdoor thing they did so thats not on but they can book a big overflow parking area so thats no problem. we can sort out security on that. still have to find out if they can get the films asked for. was thinking i'd get a bit more of a reply than this. it could be a really good thing we could do on a regular basis.

Outside film yes they do that already if wanted I will check if thats an option for us and get back to you. I will also check if they can get the other films ( only allowed to show films from their distributers its not like they just put a dvd on)they usually can get them all could make it as soon as end of this month to end of feb all depends if I get enough feedback. cost is usually about $14 but if we want to arrange food and drink catered it will be more (as I said before ther are resturants and stuff all around it and it has a candybar and the usual stuff but they will cater for events. If someone official from the club wants to actually organise it as an official club event ,just get back to me and I will pass the details to them. has the potential to be a good night and a regular occurance. those that like the beach could make it it a day there and the films at night . if we get over 100 we can have the whole friday or sat night just have to arrange bgetween the other already booked in films.

Hi Guys as my missus works at the picture house she has persueded the owners that we can have a night of films starting with the Initial d movie (if we can get enough to show) so as the rules state not to put this in events till its fixed , is anyone up for it? and what other movies (car ones) would you suggest. Venue sounds good room for 280 inside , large beach /resterant/chip shop etc . Be good for a cruise up from sydney see the flicks and cruise back

Any reason why you prefer to fix the old engine? its just my oil pump has decided to run weak and i was toying with the same thing should i buy a 2nd hand motor like you or rebuild . im wonderin how much the freight to syd is?

Hi guys mky oil pump is on the way out (oil light on tickover and low pressure ) has any one got a decent bare engine and head complete as I dont need all the other stuff that bolts on, I know replacing the oil pump might do it but you never know what else has picked up and it would cost more to rebuild (and I cant be stuffed)lol

I can empathise as I have been through the same sort of situation with mine .... long pause as i gather my thoughts and try not to regress... any way I worked it out eventually with a mig welder and some primer

Hi just did mine .didnt do all this though. just took out the glovebox and air con part. unscrewed the plastic hoses from the core (4 screws in each) slid the core out the side. slid the new one in , put some silicone gasket round the silicon o rings and screwed the plasic hoses back on. DASH not touched. might just be that all is wrong with yours is those silicon seals either way if you can get the 300zx one its a quicker way of fitting

Some guy did a demo on mine with a stuff called oxygone is here http://www.waterlesscarwash.com.au/pages/products.cfm it came up like new trouble is he only did one so i had to get it for the other but it takes the oxidisation out of the top layer or something like that anyway it looks good after

I think you have to get a wooden dowel and knock it in (thats what I did ) make sure once its in that the gearbox spigot fits as it is an interfearance fit and is very tight its no fun if the gearbox spigot is too tight when youve got the gearbox in the air and your trying to get the clutch friction plate lined up etc . oh and make sure you dont knock it too far in as there ia room for it to go right past where it should sit and then you have to buy a second one and put that in too (guess who did that) it just needs to be flush with the face of the hole in the crank end

Hi Guys had exactly the same prob the little blue relay next to the battery in the boot ticks like mad. iafter ripping half the dash apart and checking all the voltages from the pinouts it was just the fuse the fuse box has two rows top to bottom its the left hand row sixthfuse up runs fine on old ecu -nothing but start screen on PFC

I had the same prob ,tried the resistor thing -spent too much time and blew a few units as well . I then just bought the old school europe type flasher that isnt load resistant GREAT!!

Any one doing a front cut and dosn't need the heater box I got a face full off steam the other morning so I need a new heat exchanger core.(and directions to change it)
