  1. Hey Duncan. Do you think i will fit 265's under the 33? Also what sort of price are the Falkens you have. Ive rung a couple of places and the options so far are: Maxxis Mav's $318, Sumitomo $310 and the Hankook K104's for $300 each. All these were in a 265/35/18.

  3. Hey guys. Just purchased some 350z 18's and would like to know what the widest tyre i could go on the rear due to the offset they have. I was hoping to get a 265/35/18 for the rear's but not sure if i would run into any trouble. Any help would be appreaciated. Thank's
  4. I found mine very noticable as you would expect. But this was greatly improved once the car was tuned.

  6. Hey Justin. Just changed to a 040 and used a nismo fuel reg. Dont see more than 90% duty cycle. Having said that you still have to let the car warm up because as SK has mentioned in the past about fuel enrichment. It wasn't at full temp the other morning and gave it a squirt and saw the engine light flicker, so i backed of straight away. Checked the hand controller and it had hit 100%. So about 10 mins later when it was at full temp i tried the same thing again and didn't go over 90%. So in my case i think i'll let the car (as i should anyway) get to full temp before ringing it's neck.

  11. In my opinion they are absolute rubbish. Had it set on 12 and it would spike to 15 then drop to 10 at the top end. Replaced it in the exact same spot with one of the $30 turbotech ones sold on here and it is fantastic. I have it running on around 16-17 psi and it holds great without spiking... Hope this helps

  17. Joe. Just to let you know that my standard air flow meter was maxing out at 195kw but only in cooler weather (cold morings etc). But every car being different you may get more.
  18. G'day Geoff. The other mods on the car are a power fc, bosch 040, nismo fuel reg, Z32 AFM, FMIC, full exhaust and a turbotech boost controller which works very well at high levels. I didnt mention injectors because the standard ones were used. Only upped the pressure a bit and all is fine on the hand controller. 90% duty is the max i've seen and the knock levels are not exceding 20 at the moment.
  19. Well what can i say. WOW. Fantastic everything. After being quoted a very reasonable price i decided the give these guys a go. Dropped the car of in the morning and later on in the afternoon received a call saying there were small problems, i was both disapointed and thought WTF will this now cost me? Anyway Drew told me to come in and discuss it. It was missing and not running right. Anyway after leaving the car with him he spent time trying to rectify the problem, then finally fixing it. He installed all my goodies and dyno tuned it. Ended up with a great result and he did not charge me one cent more than was quoted. Even stood there when i picked up the car for about 45 mins answering all the questions i had. A credit to Drew, Izzie and all the other guys down there. Will deffinately be back for when i break something.
  20. Also not wanting to start up a debate about injectors but the standard ones were deffinately used for the tune. I straight away said mate this dyno must be a very happy dyno. But thinking back these guys hade a dyno day about 2 years ago where the car was run and made 160rwkw. At the time the car was also run on two different dyno's in a 4-5 month period. The difference between all three was 1kw. Also the owner said he thought they were very good numbers and added that he has the dyno regularly calibrated by dyno dynamics. The Nismo fuel reg was used and only a bit more than standard pressure was run. He said he would deffinately not run rediculous pressure through any cars that come through the workshop. I did have the S15 injectors ready for the tune though, just in case.
