  1. I had a go at doing this the other day and Sh!t the 2 mounting bolts are on tight. I don't think I could have ever tighten those two bolts as hard as they were to get off, so I've decided I'll leave it up to the tyre blokes. I'm due for a set of tyres, might as well have them install the bar and do the wheel alignment all at once, true?
  2. Pictures will be up tonight hopefully. Will email the pics once I got them. Awaiting payment of Intercooler, Airbox and Dump/Front pipe & Cat.
  3. Sorry guys I posted my number up now. Since I've had a couple people ask me. Thanks

  5. The rear wing is still on the car and in perfect condition. It's the series 2 style and is black in colour. I've taken a photo anyway so you can see it. Will post it up later.

  7. End up paying that powder coater a visit?
  8. Is it 100% necessary to have the rear aligned after this bar in put in? Bob Jane charged me $95 for a wheel and balancing =
  9. Well sounds!! I'm gonna give it a go and I'll let people know how it goes. the only thing I'm worried about is when it rains, if water gets up there.
  10. I've done a search but haven't found much on this. I recently install an intercooler and as some of you may know when using the cross-over piping for the cooler you are left with a hole underneath the pod filter where the intake pipe used to be. Well I'm planning to install a CAI box to sheild the heat and since the hole is directly underneath that box, would it be a good idea to run some plastic piping from the front bar to the pod? This flowing coldair directly into the pod. The only thing I'm worried about is things like dirt and water coming through the pipe towards the pod. Any ideas?
  11. Definately not. I race karts and I am well influenced on the problems on hard driving on a cold engine. I filled it with almost the whole container but left about half a litre. so about 4.5 litres in total.
  12. Recently I replaced my engine oil of my R33 GTS-T with the Motul 10w40 turbolight.. and since then I have been running pretty high oil pressure. On start up it will idle at around 4 (whatever the messurement is) then if i drive say a couple minute after start up and at around 2,500rpm the oil pressure will be at around 7. Then on normal driving once the engine is up to temp it will be around 4 again. Is that normal for that kind of oil or for the engine? Any help will be much appreciated.
  13. Coupe-This - I am also looking to get one of these kits from nengun, althought I'm looking at either the Greddy V-SPL or Blitz LM. Depending on the power your looking to pull from your car, the Greddy V-SPL is recommended to comfortably handle 250rwkw any more than that you'd be looking at the high flowing R-SPL. I have heard lots of good news from the Blitz LM kits but my personal opinion I don't really like the use of original piping. Where I think the Greddy uses cross-over piping which you will have to make a hole near the whiper/radiator over flow bottle. Only reason for me saying this is that the Blitz piping bends 180degrees on the outlet side, and the idea is for a cold air and flowing intercooler system, like an exhaust you want it to flow the hot air out.. you don't see a 180degree bend in any exhaust.
  14. Whats the reason for selling? And how many k's since new?
  15. Is it the top of bottom pic? And is it a direct fit to the GTS-T or GTR?
  16. The quickest and one of the cheapest ways to up the boost is a T peice bleed valve. With stock cooler I would recommend 10psi.. with aftermarket front mount up to 12psi. To run approx. 180rwkw I would suggest a pod filter, 3" turbo back exhaust, FMIC, bleed valve at 12psi. With that easily 180rwkw. If you want to hit the 200rwkw then go the Apexi PFC. Custom mild steel 3" Exhaust $1000 approx. Pod filter $100 - $150 Bleed valve $100 FMIC bolt on kit $1200 (nengun - Greedy) Apexi PFC $1500 approx (plus tune) Hope thats of some use.
  17. Go Fast Bits Plumb-Back BOV for sale!!!! Excellent condition, comes with adaptor for R33 and an extra whisler style trumpet (gives out an agressive sound). Everything to just unbolt stock and bolt on GFB bov. Reason for selling looking to purchase HKS SSQ bov. BOV $200ono see link for pic Go Fast Bits - Plumb-Back R33 Stock Dump/Front pipe $50 R33 Series 2 rear wing in black $200ono Thanks, Michael
  18. Thanks for the help guys. I'll look to get one of these baffle plates. I will be using that for every day driving but once I hit the track I will remove it. Thanks for the help.
  19. I have been tested once and warned twice by the EPA of my exhaust being too loud. And to be honest I am sick of it's loudness too! Can any prescribe a quick cheap fix? I was looking at getting one of these silencer baffle plates which goes at the end of the muffler, are they known to actually quiten the exhaust sound down or is it just a wank?
  20. I am also interested. Let me know when there will be next shipments.
  21. What kind of additional power gains can you expect from the stock exhaust over an aftermarket straight through 3"?
  22. I was quoted $650 for a cat-back system new, mild steel with cannon muffler and silence. Probably gonna get it.
  23. From the sounds of it I think the PFC is gonna be better bang for my buck.. Hmm.. it makes me think whether I should get a PFC or the Greddy R-SPL cooler first??
  24. I actually don't have a tuner = I do all my own service and everything I've installed so far has been simle bolt ons. I'm thinking about heading over to Ice Performance, I had a couple chats with the boys over there and they seem quite good. Although I've heard you have to book a few week in advance, which is a downer.
