I Am 17 On My P's What Car Would Be Best For Me?
kralster replied to rustykilla's topic in South Australia
Lewis Hamilton could probably drive fairly well at 17. All any of you do on here is stereotype. ZOMFG he will get killed in teh turbo and crashzor it. A lot of you are going on about how you crashed your first car and "thrashed" it. I sure as hell didn't crash or trash my first car. I couldn't afford too. Any my skill level had nothing to do with. I do agree if he wants a nice imported silvia, skyline, etc, etc NA would be the way to go. That way insurance will be nice and cheap. But other than that do what ever the hell you want. -
So i was house sitting on the weekend and got bored so decided to play halo 3, i've had it since the day it came out, and never been interested in it. I finished it in about 7 or so hours over saturday and sunday evening. I really liked it though, and would like to now play the first two. Also i'll be playing ps3 tomorrow, getting the gt5 prologue bundle, sooo looking foward to it, if it has actual AI unlike earlier GT games it's gonna rock.,

Followed by "look at my new cell mate" well done champ.

I don't find the wii to be a gamers console. And i agree i shouldn't call it stupid. But i've played every first party nintendo title at the office or at home, and the only game i've really enjoyed was Super paper mario, which was a cube game ported to wii and had pointless additions to it, like pointing the remote to find secret passages. And games like smash bros, and mario kart all play better with the gamecube controller.

Marco there is a bundle coming out next week that has GT5 prologue and a 40 gig console for retail of $699 I'm getting one!!! can't wait, the ps3 now has some games i'm actually looking foward to.
-
Those Corvettes are pretty nice though, and bloody good value for money in the states. But if i could only have 1 it would be the GTR.
-
Most doctors and probably most people could tell you that the car you drive has no relation to the size of your penis. If you've been led to believe this i'm sorry you had to hear it this way. Personally OP i'd save some money up and then think about either modding or upgrading to a GTR.

Vegas 2 in a few weeks?? I've been playing it this evening.. it's street date is thursday.
-
Also do you really want to own a car that is 15 years old now? Thats pretty old in my books (even though my own car is 25 years old) and i assume they still want over 10 grand for it. Save your money and at least get a series 2 R33.

I'm guessing he's saying something like, Honda's priority this year is to beat stoner in motogp.

Finished Okami about a week ago. Took me 33 hours all up, i made a save before the end bit so i can go back and do all the quests and stuffed i skipped. I loved the game, one of the best games i've played in the past two years. Also i sold my wii last week. It really is a stupid console, it is not for gamers. Sure you may say games like metroid prime and mario are good, but they are the same as the cube version except for gimmicky controls. Pointing a remote to move the camera is the same as using an analogue stick, there is nothing revolutionary about it. I may grab another wii in the future but i got a good price for it and i'll put the money towards the gt5 prologue console pack i'm getting soon. Currently playing... GTA: VCS on psp, brought when it dropped to 30 bucks retail only about 12 percent into it, just something fun and easy to play. Also playing the original Advance Wars on GBA great fun. Also i finished yesterday finally the FEAR perseus mandate, just a standard run of the mill fps but still a bit of fun, with some cool gun battles.

How much do they weigh compared to the stockies?

Well Pedrosa broke his wrist during winter testing late last year. He practicially had no time on the bike between then and now. Hence development of the 2008 RC212V was handled by nicky hayden. And pedrosa isn't the biggest fan of nicky and doens't beleive he know's how to steer the development of a new bike. Having said that coming 3rd in the race is bloody good for Pedrosa cosidering his limited time to practise. Rossi on the other hand. I think it was stupid to go to the bridgestone tyres. After michelin were shamed by bridgestone last season you'd be stupid to think michelin wouldn't spend heaps of money on research and on supplying better tyres. Now rossi this year has to come to each track with practicially no knowledge of how the tyres are going to be. He can't look back on past seasons and see what kind of tyres and setting they ran, he has to start from scratch. Also looking at most races and the final standings in the championship, apart from stoner there were hardly any other bridgestone runners up the front. At the end of the season where pedrosa had a few good results and wins he was on michelins and had no problem what so ever. So the story that stoner only won due to his bridgestones, and his ducati, and his electronics package is stupid. Look at Marco on the weekend he was down in 14th or so on the exact same bike as stoner. Stoner is just a bloody good rider.

Sorry to hear mate. My cat died about 15 years ago and i still get a tear when i think about her.
-
I thought you were talking about a prostitute.

And i think the record for a motorcycle is a 1:06 Not bad for only two wheels. And mallala isn't a very bike friendly laid out track.
-
I know a guy doing 1:12's on his 600cc motorbike.
-
I love that second last corner at mallala. My first track day there i was entering that corner at about 60 km at the apex in the morning, by the end of the day it was at 100+ such good fun.

1.23 is respectable well done. Who gives a shit about them thinking you were going "too fast" first lap out. Thats debatable if a F1 car was lapping 1.23 first lap out no one would be saying it was going too fast for it's first lap out.
-
^^^^ Was it Jesus?

Awesome start to the season. The first 9 or so laps were great, lots of passing moves, and banging of fairings. At the start i figured casey must of gone for a harder tyre as it took a bit longer to warm up, but once he got the heat into it he just pulled ahead. Well done Lorenzo 2nd in his first ever race. And also nicely done Dovizioso sticking it up Rossi.

The 2008 MotoGP world championship kicks off this weekend with the opening round in Qatar. Qatar for the first time in the worlds oldest racing championship is being run at night time. With the whole track under lights. Some would say it's to improve the conditions so they aren't riding in the extreme temperatures of the day. Logic would dictate that they are only doing it for european viewers so they don't have to be up late at night. In the practice sessions Casey Stoner wearing the Number 1 on his bike this year has topped the time sheets thus far. Close to him in second and only 11 one hundreths of a second slower in the 2rd practise session is the new rider for the Fiat Yamaha team Jorge Lorenzo. In his debut MotoGP race after winning last years 250cc World championship. Finishin up the top 5 in practise are teammates James Toseland in 3rd also in his debut MotoGP ride, and veteran Colin Edwards both riding for the second tier Yamaha squad Tech 3. This is the first time Tech 3 have used michelin tyres after having run Dunlops in previous seasons. Finally in 5th we have Andrea Divizioso another first timer in the MotoGP paddock but already showing plenty of speed at the opening round. Official combined free practice times (FP1 & FP2) 1. Yeah but i'm not trying to sell you a new optus phone plan. It's actually something that you need. I doubt Mr Sniper is ringing up Ford dealerships trying to sell them Holden seat covers or something. And it's not a retail thing either. It's business propositions.

Thats pretty impressive Vu. I'd never attempt something like that myself on a nice car. Also how'd you change your username?
