My brother got a few copies of windows 7 RC from uni the other day and i thought what the hell i'll put it on my primary computer, upgraded it straight from vista and i am extremely impressed. It loads faster than vista and uses lest ram at idle. The only conflict i had was daemon tools as well so it's very impressive.

I think the writing has been on the wall for the past 5 years. The share price has dropped around 90% since then. And it's not unusual for a car maker to sell it's cars for a loss. Off the top of my head GM lost about 3 billion dollars selling cars last year but made about 4 billion from financing them for customers, but what happened was the value of these big trucks they all drive nosedived when fuel became really expensive. And because peoples car were worth next to nothing they couldn't afford to trade them in and get a new one. And the new car market and secondhand market went to shit.

Yes very much looking forward to alan wake. That was originally gonna be out in 2007 or so. Shaping up to be very good, hopefully it puts the new crappy silent hill to shame. I'm interested to see what happens with this new 360 camera some of it sounds very cool, but being a core gamer i'd rather play a real game than some gimmicky camera movement based thing.
