I don't think you have anything to worry about mate. I know it can be a bit of a worry when you send payments for parts overseas (especially with the amount of shonks out there these days), but there are many people on here (including myself) that can vouch for Nengun. I've always received my orders off Nengun (sometimes very quickly and other times not so), but fact of the matter is, they've always arrived. I actually received notification today that my injectors have just been sent, so hopefully they'll turn up in the next few days. If you be patient, I'm sure your goods will arrive in good time as well

Thanks for the advice. It looks like I won't be able to get out to WSID till next Wednesday, but i'll definately give it a go then

Seems like I'm definately down on mph What rwkw did you have at the time Robo's? I've currently got 194rwkw on 12psi.

LOL, I've almost given up waving... Everytime I see another line and give a wave or thumbs up, all I get is a dumbfounded look in return. Where is the love?!?!?!

I was doing consistant 1.9 60" time's on all three 13.1 runs that I did on the day. What mph did you run? Also, did you shift into 4th before the finish line? I found that I was always just about on the rev limit just before the line and had to shift up to 4th. Could it be possible that perhaps that extra gear change is costing that additional tenth of a second? In hindsight, I feel as though the car would have enough in it to run in 3rd to the line. I might give that a try when I go back in the next week or so... In reality, I know that a sub 13 is nothing special to write home about where others are running 11's, 10's etc. Although I still think a 12 with the std turbo is a good achievement (and realistic goal) so I'm gonna keep trying till I get it. Then perhaps I'll upgrade the turbo and go for 11's instead

Thanks for the heads up Ben.Screw PowerCruise for a joke - it won't be getting my cash this year

Proposal Team4g Turbo All Wheel Drive Challenge
ECR033 replied to JSTYLE's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
Might be an idea to also post this up in the Vic section (if you haven't already done so) as it's likely to get the attention of any would be participants there -
Seems ok. For some reason, auto Skyline's always seem to fetch a little less than manuals. The km's may not be legitimate though (typical of Jap imports), so take note of how much wear the interior has had (i.e seats, steering wheel, pedals etc) to get a simple idea of how much true use the car has been put through. There's a good thread in the FAQ section on specific things to look for when buying a Skyline. Definately look it up as it'll point you in the right direction. And lastly, don't buy the first car you look at. Test drive as many cars as you can before deciding on a purchase. You'll quickly be able to tell a good example from a lemon. Good luck

Damm, that's good. That mph is especially impressive for the std turbo as well. Would you mind posting your splits (i.e 60', 330' etc) so I can do a comparison with mine? I managed a 13.1 @ 103mph last Sunday with Std turbo which I was pretty happy with. I think i've still got a bit more improvement left in that time with the current mods once I improve my launches a bit more. I'm planning to go out again in the next couple of weeks and see if I can crack that illusive 12 on the Std turbo.

For those of you who went today, let us know if the event is any good this time around. I'm still contemplating going tomorrow, but won't bother if it doesn't seem worth it.

*OFFICIAL* SAUNSW Drag Day Wrap-Up - Times and Pics!
ECR033 replied to NXTIME's topic in New South Wales
I want to give those reaction times a go next time I go to WSID. I cracked three 0.0** RT's within a patch of 5 runs on the weekend which I was stoked about considering I'd never even got a 0.1 RT before (I'm sure the 15+ runs I had earlier in the day helped a little though ) -

Great pics Merli! For the life of me, I can't understand why you're so modest about them though. You've got nothing but compliments on your pics from both the SnS and Drag Day and rightfully so. Your standards must be too high -

I'd also be keen to do it again if another day was organised. All going well, I'll have my turbo upgrade done in the next couple of months, so the car will be running a lot quicker next time around ...and where are those pics??? -
I've actually seen him a few times before either on James Ruse Drive or Victoria Road around Rydalmere. Very tidy car

I think you can use either plus or minus DVD's. From what I've heard, I think the only difference is the method that the DVD burner uses to record the DVD. I've used the minus ones before to make copies of some footage I recorded without any problems.

NENGUN Bought mine from there for around $600-$650 delivered (can't remember exact cost as I bought a few other things at the same time). BTW, think you should have posted this in the 'Wanted to Buy' section

BTW, I don't think that Fisi is managed by Briatore anymore despite driving for Renault. I'm pretty sure that I read somewhere that he left Briatore when he left Benetton the first time around. <Mental note: Must find article, as I'm sure i've had this disagreement with someone on here before lol >

As said above, I really don't think money has much to do with it at all. Webber's only on approx $4m/year which is middle of the road relative to the rest of the F1 grid. I'm sure he would have been paid more to drive for Toyota and also possibly Renault, but he turned them down to drive for Williams as that was where he felt compelled to go. The Williams is a dog. It's simple as that. In reality, Webber hasn't been outperformed by his teammate. Had luck gone his way, he would have finished on the podium in Malaysia (instead of Heidfeld inheriting his spot with Fisi took him out) and he would have also finished 2nd in Monaco (if Williams didn't bring him in before Heidfeld). If those things had happened, Webber would be ahead of his teammate on points and nobody was be questioning his ability. I'll be very surprised if he doesn't get on top of Heidfeld by the end of the season. In most circumstances, the cream always rises to the top...although I guess F1 is a cruel game and can sometimes bite you in the ar5e.

Spotted Gunmetal R32 GTR (ASU-72K??) this morning on James Ruse Drive, Northmead.

Care to give an example of Webber backing off in the second half of the race? I've practically watched every race of Webber's F1 career and I've never known him to back off during a race unless he's preserving the car or is totally out of contention to score points. It's a well known fact that Webber is one of the fittest drivers in F1. It's also well known that he is also one of the most determined drivers on the grid. I think you'll find that any drop off in performance during the race is almost solely attributable to tyre degradation and/or any engine gremlins that develop during the race. Webber will come good. He's had his share of bad luck this season (something which has almost alluded his teamate all year), eventually things will go his way. He had a decent race in Hungary so at least he's got a reasonable slot for qualifying in the sphincter of the universe. I don't think Williams will be so disadvantaged this race due to it being a new circuit and teams not having much data on it, so hopefully Webber can put in a good performance and get some more points.
