  2. lol yeah, I saw the black skyline pulled over on the side of the road
  3. Direct Injection is an old concept. Reason why people stopped using it was the petrol would wash the oil off the bores.... As my tech teacher says "There is nothing new in automotive - It is just a loop."
  4. Sorry, have been away at tafe all last week. Mindflux, I can tell you what you need to know.. but I dont have a camera. Its not really hard at all, you just gotta find the bungs. There are some really top guides blokes have made... Just remember tho, always undo the top bung first in your diff and g/box, so that you know you can refill it... dont wanna get stuck with no oil in your box or diff.
  5. lol, any news story links?
  6. You muffler isnt scraping? Sounds like you car might squat (on a fast take of) and scrape, and going round a roundabout your car would lean and therefore scrape it?
  7. doesn't worry me about the homo generalisation..... As for Tafe, lots of people only go their so they can still pick up their hard earned cheque from the government at the end of the week.
  8. Hrmm, I gotta go to Tamworth TAFE next week as a part of my apprenticeship... wont be happy if my car gets badged..... altho my gf said their is a few other skylines their, so hopefully they get more attention then mine hiding in the corner.
  9. Every 5000kms I do a engine oil + filter change. But my first big service included diff,g/box, brake fluid and P/S fluid..... I like the make sure my babys running with the best of lubes Will help if you have a go at servicing it yourself, You will learn a bit, and save lots of $$$. And when your doing up sump bungs, dont do them up that tight so you will never get it off again. Changing all the oils in my car made it feel completely different - she just seemed to run better/drive better.
  10. saw that on street commos forum some people have NFI when it comes to taste Sumo P.S. maybe that car could make it into an owned image somehow
  11. Ask the blokes that have done the conversion.... From what I've heard they love the extra torque in a car thats a little lighter then the r33. Sumo
  12. ahhh ok.... I dont know the number mate... but a nissan patrol clutch fits!
  13. Kris n loz: ummm, email Phil (Primo on these forums) [email protected] for a part number, he sold me this clutch about 10 months ago. So he should be able to help mate.
  14. I thought a 75w-90 oil was recommended for the g/box and a 75w-140 is what i have been using in my diff with no problems at all. made a hell of a difference.... japs mustn't service their cars. Sumo
  15. The alternator noise can travel right back to the battery.... Mine is noisy and to get rid of it I had to put on a filter on my amp.
  16. I suppose that the only cars that will shine in a country full of snow would be the 4wd ones no point of modding a GTST over there!
  17. You have a sensor thats usually located in the air ducts so the a/c doesn't freeze itself. Their is also a pressure switch out front near the radiator (looks like a cylinder with two wires going to it) But I havent pulled my line apart yet to find out. This is where a service manual would come in handy.
  18. thats just that tar shit..... Sumo
  19. Normal bulbs usually have a small wire clip that holds the bulb in, its not that hard to do. Sumo
  20. chocolate salty balls anyone??
  21. Lol, I had been driving turbo diesels for years, but my 33 was my first car with a bit of performance I drove... I got a ride with a bloke in his r33 with a t04 that started my obsession....... Gone was the V8 insperation that I so badly wanted. Sumo
  22. Mate, if your car is stock - I would go for a Cat back exhaust (preferably a jap brand). And a hi-flow panel for your filter. That will keep you happy for a while, then save up and get a bleeder vavle if you cant afford an Electronic Boost Controller.
  23. I melted my coppers in under 5000kms Sumo
