  2. Okay you do realise this thread is 6 months old?
  3. Spotted AHL-45C black R33 on Pennant Hills Road this morning.
  4. That 1st pic with the racegirls shows how tall Richard is compared to normal Jap folk...
  5. I've seen you in Chatswood many times
  6. Sweet pics. The dark blue on that R32 GTR looks very good. They remind me of some pics I saw in HPI once about the same sort of gathering (and maybe even same location). EDIT: What car was that behind the Hakosuka? Also notice some American muscle there.
  7. That mechanic in the picture looks like a shocked version of Chopper Read
  8. The crappiness of the fake GTR badge is offset by the coolness of the Batman sticker
  9. You can get a plumback kit for the SSQV
  10. That's a S14 not a R34. The C-pillar is much skinnier if you compare it to the black R34 GTR above. The C-pillar is also much skinnier than the S15 one.
  11. Haha I didn't see you? And I was tempted to overtake the Volvo but I really I was just too lazy in the end.
  12. That first pic of that MNP GTR shows a MASSIVE gap in the front bumper and headlight/front guard
  13. Spotted a white R34 coupe filling up with me at Chatswood Shell on Pac Hwy tonight
  14. Yes I love that place too Richard. The soft-shell crab they have there is divine!
  15. Err, can't you say that about any and every R34
  16. So did that yellow R33 I posted up smashed something did it?
  17. Who's doing the quality control? Not any Australian organisation that's for sure. So yes the only quality control being done is in the factory somewhere in China/Phillipines/Taiwan where these cheap wheels are made and you can bet that safety, integrity nor quality are the number one priority on the manufacturers minds. Okay so your rims are smashed against the gutter in an accident. With cheap, poorly made wheels, the whole wheel could buckle and collapse and possibly dealing even more damage to your suspension, your brakes and your chassis. With good quality rims, the wheel could withstand the hit and remain intact. Maybe these pictures will change your mind:
  18. Speaking of Fuji Speedway, why do they call it Fisco?
  19. Kris what do you think of that?
  20. haha nothing special... We try to go around eating at as many different places as we can.
  21. Do you mean Masuya stan? http://www.masuya.com.au I couldn't find anything for Musuya That being said, this Masuya place looks nice and reasonably priced. Thanks once again for the help
  22. Thanks Stan The "Some small one in Chatswood past Crystal Car wash on the corner" is Sushi-Ya Makoto is more a sushi-train. I'm looking for more restaurant type joints. And Tetsuya is abit too expensive (not to mention excessive waiting time for bookings). I'll check out the others.
  23. Just like the "Japanese Resturants In Melbourne?" thread, what are people's recommendations for Jap restaurants in Sydney? I'm looking for nothing too expensive. I've had Sushi-Ya in Chatswood/Artarmon.
  24. Spotted MADGTR on Epping Road peakhour traffic this morning.
  25. My prediction is that Evos will become the new Skylines (as in their popularity) The 9 is already popular due to it being a fullblown import by Mitsubishi Australia and I see more 6s and 7s around due to the recent import laws allowing them in. 6s and 7s are now affordable ($25-$35k) for many young people just starting off their careers. Add to this they are fairly new, highly moddable, faster than any Skyline GTS-T/GT-T and have decent looks. Within a few years the used 9s will come on the market, saturating the used/imported Evo market even further. Add to this, Mitsubishi seeing the popularity of the 9, will also import the 10.
