  1. yeah, live in the shire, work in chatswood ... would like to be able to drop the car off in the morning, then pick up on the way home ... at least i get to drive my line more than a few k each day !!
  2. so whats a 'reasonable price' classed as ???
  3. All, can anyone recommend a decent ish tuning house in north sydney (ish) to give my r33 gts-t a nice tune up once the pfc is installed We should have a forum for tuning houses by region, and peoples experiences thanks
  4. personally wouldnt re-use a head gasket at all ... especially from another engine .. but thats just me ...
  5. excellent, thanks, and yeah, the plug is no probs ...
  6. ok, so a z32 afm is on the cards, BUT is my hks pod filter going to fit it ??? is the bolt pattern the same as the rb25 afm ? cheers
  7. www.justjap.com have been nothing but helpful when i have bought stuff from them .. also got my car from them ... generally fair people, and they RELLY know what they are talking about
  8. so you can pull away, then WOT it, and you dont get ANY traction loss ? booting it in the exit of a nice sweeping corner, and no traction loss ??? guess it depends on tyres as well....
  9. just a thought if your mate has about 10k to spend, why not sell the gts-t, and put the money plus the 10k towards an r32 gtr ??? it might be a standard gtr, but thats gonna have a lot more potential that the gts-t, plus you dont end up with traction problems when you hit 200kw
  10. it does indeed ! thanks
  11. mine also feels a bit lumpy under hard load / wot type conditions ... powerfc is on the way, so hopefully hould be able to iron out some of the holes in the fuel maps ...
  12. ok, so having no idea what the anti drain back thing looks like ... does this have it ? thanks
  13. thanks in terms of specs, is it worth doing ? i mean, can the r32 pump deffo flow more fuel than the r33 gts-t ? I'm no stranger to 'modding' have had several turbo cars in the past, mr2 turbo, gti-r, 200sx, just this is my first skyline ... thanks
  14. so are you saying that hitting my 0.80 bar at 2800 rpm with a standard turbo is not good, i mean, it hits that, the the car seems to be pulling pretty hard, still going faily slow, but uphill, in 3rd, doing 40kmh at 0.80 bar seems the turbo is spooling up v fast for under load ... just wondering ..
  15. As the title says, will an r32 gtr fuel pump fit a S2 GTS-T R33 ???? as in physical size, connections, is it worth it in terms of extra fuel rate ??? etc etc and what about r32 gtr injectors ... same questions really ... Anyone done this ? Cheers
  16. cough, splutter !!! $7000 !!! could have bought an rb26 engine for around the 6.5k mark, say $1000 for fitting, and IMHO a much better outcome ... anyway, each to his own
  17. well, hopefully this can now be solved, I have ordered a PFC from nengun, and am awaiting its arrival ... I don't have the consult plugged in at the moment as was fed up with it sliding around behind the gearstick ... will plug it up at the weekend and see if I can get some logs off it .... now to read up about the pfc .. gah so much to do so little time
  18. yeah, i have decided to go the PFC route, as the emanage was going to take forever to arrive, have canceled that order, and tried to order through nengun (who have no replied to the order at all - another story) anyway, power fc has been ordered, and looking into the datalogic thingy from nz thanks for everyones input on this
  19. can you pm me the schematic please .... or post it if you so wish this could be way useful ! cheers
  20. VERY Interested. Please can you reply to my PM Thanks
  21. As stated above, power fc, with or without hand controller for series 2 gtst cash waiting cheers please email / pm me not post here
  22. so are yo usaying that a 2530 is a direct bolt on, no mods to manifold or dump pipe, oil lines etc etc needed ???
  23. gah, yes, lots more to think about .... i'm now leaning more towards a power fc ... tha lack of emanage tuners in sydney is not doing the emanage any good either ... plus the ease of installation, and the lack of the wifes 'omg i can't believe you're spending xxx hours on the car again' hmmm nengun here i come (maybe)
  24. nope !! looking for a direct (ish) bolt on really .. just that i have been a td05 setup for a gts-t for a good ish price and wondered what its like ...
  25. hmm, yes, this comes into the bracket of 'LLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGG' while the poxy ford festiva beats me off the mark at the lights ... hehe ... sorry anyway, so the td05 ???
