Hi everyone I've built a new Rb26 motor for my 34GTR, now the stocky one I yanked out is being eyed off by my younger bro who has a Gtt.. Before I help him with transplanting it in to his car, is it as simple as going / calling vic roads about the swap so they can put it on file or will I need an engineers cert? (Melbourne) was told by a mate shouldn't be a problem and a cert wasn't needed along as the engine was an option in the range, but I just want to make sure I called vic roads but the chic didn't know her ass from her elbow Cheers

I have a clean 02 black Spec S GT 6 speed leather low km etc for trade / cash adj my way for the right car. looking at spending max 15k if not swapping for the 200. Prefer vic car but will travel. ah cool thats why i thought for example if a cop is crusing behind me and im in the GTR all that comes up on his system is 2001 nissan skyline blue vin # & Engine # as per Vic roads details yeah?

Curious the "Fasted detail results" shown with each vin is this also the information vic roads / Vic police see also? Or do they just see for example " 6u9000R34#### 2000 Nissan Skyline Sedan / Coupe vin## & Engine ## only? Dont think GTR/GT-T/Etc comes up is this correct? Cause apparently my GTR shows Nissan Skyline Sedan on the database

ah sweet i just thought whats the chances i get pulled over and vic police start checking engine numbers? ive had gtr's, xr6 turbo's 200's and never had any issues with them going that far. what you want for the bottom end? why the clearance issue? i thought 26/30's were a popular build
