Pull Push, Or Is That Push Pull
kudos.motorsports replied to Messiah's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Simon, The entire R33 range, excluding the GTR, use a push type clutch release mechanism. Below are photos of the both types of set-ups, push and pull. It is irrelevant whether the set-up you're looking at, is a single or multi plate, the pressure plate design will still closely resemble those pictured below. Push Type Pull Type The only reason your vehicle will have a pull type arrangement is if a gearbox conversion has be conducted using an R34 item. If you are in any doubt then it's an easy job to double check. It's a simple task, look on the drivers side of the gearbox and locate the clutch slave cylinder. If the piston is pointing towards the rear of the vehicle then you have a push set-up, if towards the front of the vehicle a pull. Below is a picture of an R32 GTS-t slave cylinder, your set-up will have two bolts holes on the same side of the slave not one on either side as in the picture. The piston is the silver rod in the lower left hand side of the image. -
We have both the backing plates, and indicators in stock. They can be found on our website via the following link: http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/st...1_22_27_31.html

Gearboxes R33 Gts25t Vs R34 Gtt
kudos.motorsports replied to Turbo_Knuff's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
For all intensive purposes the R33 GTS25-t and R34 25GT-t boxes are extremely similar, your only concern is the difference in clutch release mechanisms. Because of this difference you have two options: Use the R34 pull set-up, and install either an R33 GTR or R34 GT25-t clutch (you current flywheel will except either) Convert the R34 box to use a push type clutch, this can be done by either of the following: Transfer your R33 set-up to the R34 box Exchange the R34 bellhousing/front plate for your R33 items While exchanging boxes it wouldn't be a bad idea to install a new clutch, even if for no other reason than peace of mind. Therefore assuming that the R34 box is coming with the release mechanism (including bearing and carrier), I would lean towards installing the R34 box as is. If you have any questions drop me a PM and I'll happily answer any questions you may have. -
Will This Clutch Fit/work
kudos.motorsports replied to muchogarcia34's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Ziller hit the nail on the head, unless you need a triple plate, no matter the price, it's just not worth the reduced driveabiltiy. However to answer your question it will physically fit your gearbox/engine however you will require a pull to push conversion kit. I personally would stick with the pull set-up, they are nicer to drive especially in a multi-plate clutch. However if you decide on the OS kit we keep genuine Nissan conversion kits on shelf so feel free to drop me a line. If you have any questions, or desire an Exedy clutch kit drop me a line. Andrew -

Gtr Afm And Rb25 Afm Plug The Same?
kudos.motorsports replied to johnbarry88's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I had come to the same assumption, the single turbo picture was a give away. However I thought I'd still give myself a plug -
Gtr Afm And Rb25 Afm Plug The Same?
kudos.motorsports replied to johnbarry88's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
The green label RB20/25 AMM do simply plug into the GTR wiring loom and the pin-outs are identical. If you are upgrading from the factory set-up you will need a new intake set-up, as these AMM are larger in diameter to the factory set-up. I personally find the best solution to this a A'PEXi super suction kit, which we sell for $770.00. This kits turns this upgrade into a simple bolt-on affair with only tuning required. Good Clutch For R32 Gtr
kudos.motorsports replied to SiR_RB's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
For a street driven vehicle, or even one that is lightly tracked, with under 250rwkw I couldn't recommend enough an Exedy Sports Organic kit. They are extremely capable unit and as they feature an organic clutch plate they retain much of the driveability of the factory set-up. We sell these kits for $579.70 + postage. This kit, and the full list of R32 GTR clutches we can offer, can be found within the following link: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ex...-G-t227523.html -
