  1. I think the depth is 8cm on the 34 one...I'll go and measure my one in a sec.
  2. Hmmm if it is the high spoiler you may have to pay someone to take it LOL
  3. My ones were replaced under warranty...happened within 5000kms of getting the car. I think it was a good 6 week wait for parts, I know it was a pain driving in 3rd for what felt like forever! You'll find the parts probably have good availability from Nissan NZ.
  4. How much do you need Josh? I may have some floating around if you only need ~4L If you're after 200L or more give me a shout I can get it at a good price
  5. Tell it to the guy that actually did it!!! I was in tears when he went through with it LOL Shame he wasn't Nigerian though, would have added to the craziness.
  6. The autos are stong, I've had my car for almost 3 years...over a year of it running a turbo on the N/A setup. The only trouble I've had is slipping at high rpm/power but that's because the N/A box has less clutch packs than the turbo box. As mentioned the only trouble you *may* have is the shift solenoids..which isn't related to box strength anyway.
  7. Yeah sounds like what happened to me, that only worked so many times, until the solenoids died 100%...then that little A/T light just wouldn't go!!! Gavin sorted my one out so no doubt he's probably the best person to send it to, he was amazed that the solenoids actually tested OK out of the g'box...but turned out that was because the fault was heat related, at room temp they were OK.
  8. Sounds like the solenoids to me, just need a few more details. When in tiptronic mode does it display the gear still, but just doesn't change? Also when the solenoids go, the check engine light doesn't come on, just the A/T light. The check engine light is probably from the pressure cleaning, check the sensor attached to the traction control servo on the intake manifold, if the plug has moisture inside it will trigger the check engine light. The very worst situation is you've got solenoids that have died in combination with the coil packs, which is very likely on the R34's
  9. Are these images from some love hungry Russian bride? Or just some random nut on the web? Disturbing at the best
  10. I'll have the full Jap version on-line soon. Share the wealth
  11. I'd start with weight reduction, get rid of that stupid fold-down vinyl roof and mechanism, you should have got a track model. It weighs less and the brakes would be better than yours Go the turbo Kel, need I say more....N/A cars love having turbo's stuck on
  12. No, standard R33 RB25DET injectors are 370cc and they are side feed...R32 are 270cc and top-feed items.
  13. Pffft I still hear it after 8 years...it doesn't get any better! But they do start to criticise lesser cars...which is a clear sign of acceptance

  20. OK the PDF files have arrived at where they're going to be hosted...just waiting for them to be uploaded. Should be tomorrow. I'll get them to post the link in here the second it's done!!! Doesn't have any of the GTR info in there though...so no MFD stuff.
  21. Silver, you should have bought an R34 N/A and done something crazy to it...like put a turbo on or something
  22. I've got no probs with meeting up, but my car falls in the category of 'bastardised' I could just show up and stare at the 'real' turbo engines haha
