  1. Not as hot as councillor hottie I bet!
  2. Your changes can be rough if the base timing is too low, or is being dropped due to pinging
  3. oh noes, happy birthday!!!111
  4. Glenn...well what can I say I suppose he's OK *now* but he did used to drive an n/a skyline...how crap is that! Nah he's a good bloke.
  5. Who the hell would do that!
  6. Boost sensor is only for the gauge in the R32 and R33...the one mid-mounted on the firewall of an R34 however controls fuel delivery and timing under boost, disconnecting that will make the car run like shite!
  7. If it was a white Prado...those cones are place out specifically for her to get a space...no joke!
  8. Pretty sure the jap one does, may need a bit translated though, the english version isn't as detailed but VERY handy still...does actually show all of the shcematics for the ECU pinouts though if that's what you mean?
  9. No I've got GT-t injectors...just I may be needing another set for a second engine that is secretly being built Whoops said too much already LOL
  10. Brendan, should be hosted tomorrow arvo..will give you the link
  11. No they won't fit...R34 are top-feed items, R33 are side feed. I'll take them if you don't want them
  12. Aaron, I’d recommend getting hold of a GTSt ECU and plugging it into your car to see if you get any error codes…I’m 99% sure after looking at the wiring diagrams that the ECU won’t see ANY difference…unlike the R34 ECU *sigh* Just get a loaner, it’ll only take a few minutes to swap over and see, ideally just swapping the ECU and dropping the base timing a few degrees may be all you need to do.
  13. Welcome to my nightmare! That happened at the Browns Plains roadworks ALL the time..."hmmmm we have to merge into this lane, let's do it at the very front and cause more chaos instead of just joining the back of the line and allowing a normal flow of traffic!"
  14. At least you didn't have to drag them out of their car like I did during my hit-and-attempt-to-run incident...he even tried to tell me he was trying to park the car up the road then come back LOL yeah right! I hate 4WD, Tarago's, any of the XE or XF wagons or any other vehicle that is prominantly owned by large people that bash their doors open in car parks with their excessive mass!
  15. It was 16 hours of labour...but spread over 4 days, they could have hit it in one go and done it in 2 days I suppose...I'd imagine bolting the bits on a 33 would be a hell of a lot quicker. They didn't tune it, it was sent to APC to tune the e-manage, but the least said about that the better....depending on what you decide with the ECU will depend on what path you should take.
  16. let me know when you do, we can talk swappage of ECU's...your auto GT-t one for the Manual GT-t one I've got sitting here. May even talk gearboxes too
  17. Life insurance is a scam, you never get to see all that lovely cash
  18. Oh another thing, says that my T-pieces were weld-on fittings, so must be welded to the block?
  19. OK found my invoice....it was $368.35 in parts and $893.75 for labour. You'd save a bit on parts as they needed silicone hoses and a couple of bits with my set-up as it was a butchered R33 manifold...whereas an R33 intake manifold will bolt straight up to yours. Also the dump-pipe gasket and manifold gasket + welding the exhaust was over $100....the stock R33 dump will bolt in place for you...the R34 has a longer front section so I had to pay for extra fitting. Hope that helps!
  20. I had it done at perFOURmance on Allgas St at Underwood, I'll have a dig around and find the complete breakdown of cost if you like?
  21. Should read: I'm a clumsy ****er
  22. Well I got them to fit all of it except the intercooler...all up including exhaust work, fitting the turbo + lines, extra pipework and blue-plate cost $1200 I think.
  23. Get a crazy-fast Sierra Cossy!
  24. Yeah had it done professionally, but they managed to leave the engine in the car, so it didn't cost as much as it was going too...don't ask me how they managed to do it though, it was in some very tight spaces!!! I was actually amazed!
