I've got nothing but praise for JVC, my KD-LH2000 has been great and hasn't skipped a beat from 3 years of constant and severe use I've been very impressed with the features, and we're talking about a way superceded model here, the newer versions are absolutely tops!!! Lots of places are now doing run-out sales on the KD-SHX900 this would have to be one of the best value for money head units around...I want one! Yep that's the new exhaust smell, we had a daewoo that used to make that smell when you gave it a bit, the smell eventually starts to dissapear. BTW drive past your place a fair bit, got some nice 34's there, especially the red one!!!

Saw 2 34's within 100m of each other on Grenard Rd. Bayside Blue GT-T, driver said hi. The other one was white, no rear spoiler, GT-T mags, blue badges and no triple gauges...so not sure if it was a GT-T or not? But then again I've got triple gauges and it's not a GT-T

I bought the 25GT over the Series II R33 GTS-t when I was looking at a car. The R34 was a much better ride and felt so much better to drive (excluding acceleration) I converted my one to turbo in the end so I feel I made the right decision from the start 350kms from a tank seems a bit average....I'm getting 420 pretty regulary with a fair amount of abuse, managed 470 this week though.

With the e-manage it's the fact that the ECU adjusts the AFM voltage to 'trick' the ECU into providing less duty cycle to the injectors, the down side of this is the fact the ECU also thinks the car is under less load and as a result is using a load point on the factory MAP that has a lot more timing advance than normal. The bigger the injector size, the more timing the ECU advances, until a point where the advance is just too much for boost/load conditions.

The DE injectors are around 270cc...I'm using that as the conversion factor in my e-manage and it seems about right.

What harnesses are you running....ignition, injection, boost? If it's hooked up the ignition harness without using the diode trick, then your coils are probably already starting to get damaged.

Yeah gatty that's a better idea, that's the way all of the GReddy bolt-on kits work....forgot to mention it! If you do a search you'll easily be able to find installation instructions for the RX-8 or 350Z kit, go by what they do.

Keep the high compression!!!!111!11one! VW are running some very respectable boost in the new GTi...with 10.8:1 compression...like me you'd have 10:1 Now I've got the front mount on it feels like I could easily throw a few more psi into the engine with no issues. High compression is your friend
