had a read in my GF's law book last nite. was called something like law & litigation or something. it goes. .. for a police officer to make an arrest, he/she has to use his/her own judgement to call the arrest. no matter if they are right or wrong in the judgement call, the arrest and fine/s will be issued. after that its all up to the magistrate to determine the outcomes of the case." this is where i think is the weak link in our legal system, how can ones judgement/opinion be the same as another? we young skyline drivers fit into this weak link perfectly, and we automatically give out the right to be judged on. INASNT dont be like that. you are 25 years old and have a good job? man. being a police man has a profession also. im not white neither and sometimes i also get picked on by the law just because of my appearance. use your common sense to overcome the differences. im sure you know. just put your self in their shoes. hi all. i was in my local Autobarn store and saw these header/exhaust thermo wrap thingy. for lets say 15m length they go for $50. what do you guys think of these? worth getting ? i heard a lot of hype for these wraps. ron

if you dont want exhaust, upping the boost wouldnt help much. mines an auto too. im running apexi twin cham BOV/incorporating the stock plumback. on low rpm it will plumb the charge air back which wont stall the car. on boost the apexi will take over most of the pressure which will give a nice bark. just wondering what sort of power fig do you guys have with what mods? ron

yep, i for got to mention. it is actually not a good idea to let the car idle for a long period of time as wrxhoon said. i heard that the mixture will lean out. i have actually tried it my self with my A/F mixture guage. it leans out after about 5min after looping for a while. this is bad for your plugs also. just keep tapping the throttle every min or so and it should be just fine.

put in mind though the actual buy value of the rex is higher, for lets say 42K for the R34 gtt in the question. the dealer/importer may have only paid 30K for it. so DiMarzio you may not have to payany dole at all.(or minimal) like said earlier, approach like you know imports like the back of your hand and negotiate. ron

try what sed8 nsaid for the cone area. if its the dust cap, just replace it go to jaycar for dustcap kit. you will not get a warranty on that i can tell you now. dont waste you time mucking around. ron

mate if the sound reproduction of the deck is not all that bad, dont worry about the equalisers. it is a waste of money and very old school. it rob the output power of the head unit also. if you really have to try get something like sony indash EQ. they goes for about $100 and built quality is very good. its a thin half din size with about 6 knobs on it. ron

hi if you live in or near coastal areas. open metal ie chips on your cars body are very sesitive to the salty air from the sea. jetdat is correct, you have to get it back to bare metal ard prime it immediatly. if a fraction is left over, it will eat away the metal again. also look for those areas that start to bubling up too. ron

there you go Redgurl, all the answers you will ever need! for all that look for the water temp needle to move, dont. it is not the indicator that your car is ready to be driven. all the engine need is oil to lubricate its moving parts, hence we have the oil pump to do the job which starts the moment we turn the key. fir those who said that it is a waste of fuel to warm OUR skylines up for a few minutes, please reconsider. what about those moments when your on full boost and chewing up shi t loads of petrol?!! not a waste of fuel at all brother. RB20 calais, are you sure the R33 was having a go too? with 4 in your car that would make the 180 weight at around 1400. with 125rw this doent sound like a skyline chopping sx. sr20 powered S13s are quick but however they would be very close to R33s in performancewise, with the same driver of course. ron

im a MOTUL man so Motul for me. as said earlier, mobil dont cope really well in temp department. tries shell, much calmer but i could tell that it lacks in the power dept. motul wont let you down, it hasnt let me. "motul is so good, thats why i have it on the side of my car for 3 full years!"
