Bryanlee, we feel for you mate! i was in the same position the first week i got my car 3 years ago. it s a nice car so they decided to dig a deep line along the bonnet for me. so what i did was telling all my friends in the area if they know or hear anything, ill will deal with it very personnally. which is not a very good things to do, but i hope it did shit the d**khead in the pants though. for your case, please think back if you have any conflict with whoever that knows what you drive and where you live. fellow cars lovers like that rexie owner wouldnt do such things i dont think, but again it may be personnal you see. ron p.s. gap filler or liquid nails are only 2 bucks . and think about it they came planned, not to steal but to vandalised, cos i wouldnt walk around carring a caulkgun!!!!

like i said earlier i have iridiums in mine at the moment. and im happy with them. i paid $21 each i think, sure they spark stronger due to the finer tips. but i dont expect to see any big performance gain. but the good thing is i wont have to change them for another 100K k's or so. (NGK quote 150K actually) ron

hi, what steve said earlier sounds right by using some Ford coils to replace. I had a look in an MSD catalog and found some modules that may work for 6 cly of course, but dunno about the cost. i took my cover off a while a go but cannot tell any different. but it will sure cool the packs down. the car that i saw was stock by the way, man!!! should ve had a better look!!!! ron

hi all, i was just wondering about some RB engines i have seen around. some of them have the 6 coilpacks replaced with high tension leads running to the spark plugs instead. has the ignition module and the coil been replaced with aftermarket units? or how is this done? any advantages other than easier to change the plugs? can someone please advise. ron

i have the iridium heat rating 7 in mine. cannt tell the different actually, but they will last longer in a well tuned A/F environment. ron

i think they should be the same in wiring, 3wire?? one for +, one for ground and another for remote. try strathfield car radio. i saw one for like 50 bucks ron

TRY 180SX with around 400ps. lowest ride heigth and hardest on spring. a lil camber. no traction or anti spin, mannn it will drift on every corner you chuck it. or s14 200 is nice too! ron

obviously you dont have this problem CMS. because this ticking is not electrical ie. relay contacts in anyway but it is like a lever that does not go into gear or just keep missing the teeth. loud ticks mate. ron

does the car revs a lil higher than usual?? try check the fuse under the dash right hand corner ron

like SLY33 said. that should be where the sound comes from but for that stupid air con noise when starting upyour car, you can get around it by just pressing the MODE button on your climate control panel so it opens that stupid thing up all the time, hence no more noise. ie. put it to the 2nd position (head and feet) but when you change it to windscreen mode it will click again. worth a try ron

i think there were R32's which have the 2.5 RB motor in them as well in 1993. but i could be wrong.... can some one clear this? ron
