  1. Not true. If a place opens till 11 then they will usually stop food at 10-10.30. Just went to Chapel street instead, plenty of late night dinner places.
  2. Drove half an hour to go to Squires Loft in Nunawading tonight, website says they were open till 11. Got there at 9pm to be told the kitchen is closed :\ Who stops serving food at 9pm but stays open until 11pm on a Saturday night?
  3. Yeah, couldn't care less what GTR owners think I could easily afford a GTR myself, it's not like they are a super exclusive club of expensive cars. Leaning towards the MP37 wheels, that way I can get a brand new set and new tyres to suit my car (plus the install and wheel balance is local).
  4. Nah don't really like the style of those, looks like what Commodores have.
  5. Hmm wheel decisions. Work Emotion CR Kai bronze (second hand), R34 GTR wheels (second hand) or MP37s (brand new with new tyres)? All should cost me between $1,500 - $2,000. Here's a picture comparison: Work Emotion: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7336/9408532537_64deef3197_b.jpg MP37 (same style, not genuine TE37's) http://www.daidegasforum.com/images/351/nissan-gtr34-nera-black.jpg GTR wheels: http://imgur.com/vDarLcx
  6. Opposite here, has been flat out and new projects keep coming through at the moment (although with my other web development business it's usually dead from December until February)
  7. A used system is the easiest way... problem is they rarely come up :\
  8. Let me know how you go if you decide to go with just a new muffler. Currently in the same boat as you deciding whether to just get a new muffler for sound and looks or whether to get a full system (might do this down the track).
  9. Have lived with 5 different housemates before (including girlfriends). Would highly recommend living on your own if you can, I personally love the freedom and doing what you want with the housemate. Every single one of my housemates has been lazy when it comes to cleaning and supplying essentials for the house, which gets very annoying. That said, I'm probably moving in with a housemate again in January so I can get a garage in a nice place close to the city
  10. Yeah I had a look at Vu's spoiler, costs a few thousand apparently. Yours is an example of a wing I like Charles, suits the car well
  11. Have seen quite a few go for a lot less than $700. I would prefer the full separate mounts + wing as per the above image. Had a look at the Carmate ones, but they all require painting. If I don't find something I like I'll probably just end up getting the standard GTR spoiler in carbon fibre: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Carbon-Fiber-Spoiler-Wing-For-Nissan-Skyline-GTR-R34-R32-BNR34-Car-Down-Force-AT-/321865232776?hash=item4af0a9b188:g:HUsAAOSwLqFV9ty~
  12. Not turning it into a full track car, just keen to do a few days Have to agree with the below comment haha. I would prefer to do up my current car even if it costs me a bit more. I have a budget for the mods I'm doing, but that doesn't mean I don't have the money if that needs to extend Saving up for other things instead, car gets a certain percentage.
  13. Hi guys, I'm looking to see what rear wing's people would recommend for the R34 GTT. I've always been a huge fan of these types of rear wings: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7009/6446244541_e165af10bc_o.jpg Of course only if they are done right, it can look tacky quite easily but the picture is a good example for what I'm after. Are there any decent bolt-on wings which fit in the standard holes of an R34 for under $700? Otherwise, any recommendations for where to buy from & pictures on an R34 as an example? Thanks
  14. Looking forward to the Sandown day in January, do you know when we need to register by / when/if it will become full? Just ordered a new bodykit which is getting painted next week. Time to upgrade the brakes, exhaust and wheels next month as well
  15. I can probably compromise on a few areas for now. With just a basic exhaust surely $1,000 is sufficient? (Excluding installation)
  16. Hey guys, Looking at upgrading the exhaust on my R34 GTT over the next few months. I was just wondering what my best options are for with: - Quiet on idle - Loud on high RPM - Offers the highest performance - Budget of $1,000 Anyone have recommendations and stores to buy from? Thanks
  17. Hi guys, I'm looking to buy an R34 Series 1 front REO, including the REO and headlight brackets. I'm trying here before calling up wreckers over the next few days. Would prefer if you are located in Melbourne. Thanks!
  18. So difficult to find a decent bodykit... haha. I mainly want the GTR style as it's by far the best looking kit, just difficult to source one. There was a group buy with the East Bar kit on here a few months ago, I'll have to chase up to see what pictures of fitment were like with that.
  19. Oh damn :\ Where did you source your GTR parts from? I might still get the side skirts from them, but I want the front-bar and bonnet to line up perfectly.
  20. haha that would be good thanks. I sent the guy an e-mail this morning with the details
  21. Contacting DT panels to see if they can fit Viva Garage parts (it looks like they are East Bear replicas) so I just need to change my REO from a Series 2 to a Series 1 as they are for the GTT.
  22. Thanks for that. Went to their website and it seems more up their alley. My parents live down near that area so I don't have a problem about it being there. Will check it out!
  23. Spotted a silver R33 at the carwash in Hawthorn tonight. Number plates were something like ARH33
  24. After the bonnet, front bumper and side skirts. Will be doing fenders and rear bumper later down the track. It's hard to find a good quality kit, and using genuine GTR parts becomes super expensive and hard to locate. The pictures on their website look fine for the fitment, but in reality of course it can be different :\
  25. So I've been meaning to install a GTR bodykit on my GTT for a few months and finally got around to getting everything organised including new wheels. Now my panel beater is backing out as he's not sure on the fitment from Viva Garage (am willing to pay a little extra for a better fitment, but don't want costs to skyrocket if Viva Garage is crap). Anyone have experience with Viva Garage here? Just want a nice looking and fitting GTR bodykit
