I had a good weekend, except for the troubles with the damn BOV, and then sucking up the cold air intact, and then blowing the intercooler hose off...... Just a few extra pics also.

I got pulled over at about 11:45 on Wednesday night, for a random breath and license/reg check. I was a tad concerned that I was going to get a canary for the 13" steering wheel and harness I had in my car. And the fact that I didn’t clear the EPA notice, for the BOV. He didn’t even ask to look under the bonnet. Nice bloke, polite, and even laugh at a funny I cracked!

These are very tidy rooms. Nothing flash, but comfortable enough to have Troy on the couch watching crappy movies until all hours of the morning.....

As you sign in and hand over your $20, they get you to put your license number down and sign your life away. I think you can do it if it's been suspended, as you hold onto your card. So you could probably get away with it. Not too sure if you can, if you had it suspensed for 6 months or not. You hand your card in for that one. They don't really care anyways. They only give you greif if you do something stoopid. Just don't get caught driving down there on a suspended license. Got someone who can drive your car down there for you, then you just punt it around the track??

Like Chris said, I'm organising a bunch of "I can out drive you, but I'm scared of the track... and my car doesn't have sump baffles......" experts. I've spoken to about 8 people, all keen. One is not scared of hurting his Renault Clio, but "it's the fact I don't trust the other dickheads out there". I've spoke to Kate from reception at Winton Raceway, and this is how the day is structured: Cost: $20 When: Sunday 19 December 2004 Time: Gates open at 8am What you need: A car (road registered- Doesn't need to be race prepared) A Helmet (any Road approved helmet is fine -motor bike/car/track/postie, etc) Full length fire resistant clothing. ie: Cotton long sleave top/shirt, Jeans. Full cover footing. Session Times: Each session is for 30 minutes. Alternating between: 1 session with 1 passenger 1 session without. It is not timed, so there is no pressure. You can drive the track how you want.

Thing I hate is driver attitude. Look at me man i'm like fully shick... Oh yeah you don't need that half a car length ditance on front of you, so it's mine and you can't do nofin.... And young punks in old Mitsu Colts with some fat as tyres sticking out of the gaudes with those crappy $15 bonnet vents, mario seating position, interior 'colour coded' with Kmart's finest $4.50 can of splay paint..... And his mate in the Lancer with wanna be EVO wing, cheap 16" wheels from Kmart auto/bob jane, autobahn special pod and a cheap exhaust wanting to race you. When you just ignore them cause you not gonna waste your fuel on the two morons, and they get cut and start yelling abuse at you....... Man that pisses me off....

Oh, just to rub everyone up the wrong way, I have skyline parts on my car too..... R33 stock rims (track wheels) And I have an RB25 stock Recirc. Valve going on my cooler piping also :devfu:

That 1gen Prelude with the 32 tails looks good in my opinion. But I don't like the crappy paint. I think that the 32 lights looks stylish. I was think of doing that to the TX5, but I would have to reform the boot lid and fudge around with seals and stuff. Lucky I didn't hey, all this sledging of peoples personal tastes.....
