  1. I'd also pull the tow sticker off it. That suggests straight up that you've tracked the car. People get turned away by that sort of thing.
  2. I'll be there. Don't forget there is parking behind the side that the coffee club is on, behind Bunnings. There is a HEAP of parking spaces out there.
  3. I still think Village square is a good place to meet. You don't need to get a feed there if not wanted. Wednesday night still a good night.
  4. I'll help.....
  5. Bris, the best way to get it to handle is to treat it like a FWD. Majority of the drive/steering/braking done with the front end. A big rear sway bar will remove most problems with understeer. I would resist the urge to fit a big front sway bar as it will result in more understeer. Some coilovers will also help undoubtedly. 250kw atw is not unheard of from the stock setup with boost, etc, however they do suffer from heat soak with the cooler being on top of the engine. The stockboxes, as long as you don't treat it like a GTR it will hold up with that sort of power.
  6. That is some awesome work.
  7. Sorry for not being there guys.. I got caught up with work in Toowoomba nad had no internet access! Next one I'll be at.
  8. awesome. loved it!
  9. Those peaks in the power curve look remarkably like the power curves of the stock Neo management. My stock 25DET Neo made 155kw atw with 13psi and a tweaked CAS. The stock management ends up with those peaks and falls due to the knock sensor causing the ECU to pull timing. It looks to me that the tuner either has copied another map or hasn't had much experience with RB's. But my opinion is worth about as much as what my dog lays in my backyard every morning.
  10. reverb over the afm usually occurs with flutter/not having any bov. having an atmo bov will reduce the chances of this happening. If it's a stock setup, or uses a stock bpv, then you will have issues with idle. At idle the stock valves open. Aftermarket vavles usually have a firmer valv eseat pressure, causing low rpm flutter. This could also cause issues. My money is on the car stalling or stubbling during gear shifts.
  11. Totally agree. I busted mine within 20 mins.
  12. can get flutter with stock setup with 11 turbo boosters and no bov with pod. Not full pidgeon spec though. Got full pidge biatch?
  13. Being a Mitsu turbo, it should be cheap to get them done, considering you can pick up new CHRA's for under $1000. $500 to fit housings sounds like bollocks to me.... I've had dealings with MTQ and them seem pretty well priced for what I've had. Also keep in mind that most shops won't give an accurate qoute without eyeballing the turbo.
  14. Yep, 7.30 at Coffee Club. See ya there.
  15. It's at village square just behind bunnings.
  16. They are the factory 19's of the V36.
  17. Sounds like a plan. How about this: Wednesday night next week at 7.30-8.00 at the coffee club.
  18. What pressure spring does it have in it? Is it a 38mm jobbie?
  19. Update of my car with the new rims.. And the tuck they deserve!
  20. Welcome to the world of our Parents.
  21. bLaQ.bOi i think you needed to choose your question better. Trying to keep a car 'street legal' with a cage can proove difficult. Look into the regs of your state if you're serious. Mod Plates in QLD are the equivelent to an engineers certificate, except they are affix to the car. If you were looking into motorsport stuff, perhaps a better question would have been "Are these designed to meet CAMS/ANDRA specs??".
  22. Right, so it sounds like there is enoug hinterest in a Browns Stains meet. What night is a good night for everyone?? Early/mid/late week? I think an early/mid week meet would be the best. Tuesday/Wednesday night. Plenty of places to get a feed too. Some good food places are open now in Village Square. 7pm meet time sound good???
  23. Thanks Andy. Where is he located??
  24. Hi All. I'm looking at getting my project car painted up. I'm not looking for anything fancy, like airbrushing, tri-colours, flick paint, etc. I'm looking for a full colour change in 2-pac. I've used 2-pac before but I would preffer a job done in a booth instead of a garage. Who have you guys used who is well priced? I'm not looking for an overnight $400 job, yet I'm not prepared to pay 6k to remove a few little dings and a minor scrape (yes, a panel shop did qoute this) and that was just to colour match! Cheers Scott
