  3. man thats a rort! powdercoating is cheap as chips. example. i make staircases for a living.i had 2 huge c channel beams about 4m long, each weighing about 150kg. one had 4 posts welded to it. i consider it to have been a very heavy and hard job to do. total cost was sandblasting $180 powdercoating $180

  7. just be wary of aluminium radiators,electrolosis can kill them in no time i had a 5 row core put in my original end tanks.works bloody beautifully
  8. what size oil lines do you guys run to your ball bearing turbo's? the standard banjo bolts seem to have a small hole in them to restrict oil flow
  9. DUDE! lol i assume you mean flutter? flutter is compressor reversion and isnt good. sure you may get the attention of sidewalk sam but its really not helping anything but your ego.

  12. at wsid you can go to a test and tune on a weekend for $100 and get as many runs as you desire. i know a bloke who had 40 odd runs in a day. not bad for $100 i reckon.

  17. my cam covers dont have the lumps at the back. whats the go there? it has vct but no lumps??????????
  18. im going to tee the oil return to the turbo oil return pipe. i cant remember exactly(and im on the piss!)(merry christmas!) but the blocks are different at the oil filter.just run the filter without the cooler rb30 style.
  19. i always use a vband.its so easy! cant you keep the pipe hard out against the head of the bolt while you do it up?
  20. are you sure the bolts too long? have you forgotten the washers?
  21. well the rods are good for around 1000 hp or so in v8 form so thats 750hp in 6 cyl form.
  22. check this link. i have a thread on it over on our rb friends site calaisturbo http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=30077 did you measure that with the standard chev little end bush? its bigger than the nissan one so it would measure longer if you went overall measurements rather than centres
  23. any idea on getting full valve lift with no oil pressure? i need to check the piston to valve clearance
