  1. I'm also interested in fitting cruise in
  2. I would not be so sure about V36. Anyway, he is in Sydney so of no use for me...
  3. he does the same thing for $10k apparently
  4. I don't have answer to the same question even for the factory unit. Nobody in Melbourne can even program bloody spare key for this car.
  5. Okay, I've got one more fellow skyline owner interested 3 more people to find (for $5-6k/car) OR 8 more people to find (for $4-$4.5k/car) Apparently one problem has been discovered - V36es are scattered all over the Australia. This is easier to solve than getting guys and equipment down here, though.
  6. mate, V series can be 35 and 36, and v35 can be done virtually by any locksmith. Which one is yours? I am still looking for a solution for the v36, I've been to four dealers and countless locksmiths but nobody could really program a spare key for me
  7. There are guys who don't play with clocks and have de-reg papers from Japan but apparently they are considerably more expensive than those who do.
  8. Challenged my luck today with Burwood Nissan. Although guys were friendly and willing to help, they couldn't program the key. What I was told, they tried the K13 and Z34 programs and found those only accept 5-digit codes, whereas the car was requesting the 20-digit code, so even if they knew the key, they couldn't type it. Any ideas (other than driving to Adelaide) appreciated.

  10. did they make a new key? if yes, can they do another key?
  11. well, you can't really buy Consult III either. Nevertheless, the same ebayers who sell Consult also selling both Immo and GT-R cards.
  12. Do you still need to know PIN if you have Consult III and the security card for immobilizer? If it's that simple I'm thinking to buy Consult III and the card, make two fobs and sell both on eBay once done
  13. this solution is for older v35 does not work on V36'xes as they have smart entry
  14. hi mate, no I don't know it
  15. I was told they need some key (20-digit or 12-digit, don't remember exactly) to program it using their tools I thought once you've got consult 3 plus immo key card you don't need any codes as the tool goes into Chuck Norris mode and allow you to program any key.
  16. Nissan Werribee is also of no use.
  17. It's 2006 model V36, type SP
  18. Thanks mate, called them. They refused to help and directed me to Ferntree Gully Nissan. Catch-22.
  19. Hi guys, I've got another fob for my 2006 V36 and I went (twice) to Ferntree Gully Nissan to program it. They could not program it without GTR technician as there is some security key (I believe NATS requires special card to program these models), went one more time today but no luck (I am not sure they really tried as this attempt was much shorter than previous), so they recommended me to talk to Infiniti people. I have spoken to Inifiniti service but they turned to be completely useless, although they're selling the same car (G37) and definitely have Consult III Now I'm kind of stuck. Anyone knows a Nissan dealer in Melbourne who is capable of programming a fob?
  20. Hi guys, I am in talks with chaps that are capable of doing the following: - Swap the navi unit on v36 Skylines, including the keypad and all dials using *new* OEM Infiniti parts, converting entire system and buttons to English and keeping all functionality like trip computers, diagnostics, cameras, etc - Enable DVD playback (*this maybe limited to zone-free and Europe coded DVDs, but there may be some workarounds) - Enable USB playback - Fix radio frequencies - FIx time zone - *maybe* navi maps/TMC traffic. I could not find a copy of australian maps dvd used in local Infinities, maybe they are the same as Nissans and in the same format as for other regions or maybe not. Full conversion takes 1-2 days for 2006-2009 models and less than a day for 2010 and later models. Approximate cost for 5 cars is $5-6k per car and for 10 cars is $4-4.5k per car I'm wondering if anyone could be interested in making such a swap.
  21. Just received my white Skyline V36 brought by Ben from J-Spec and complied by Bespoke, all good.
  22. The XX mark on the left side means panel replacement. It has been repaired from an accident that has affected left side of the car with structural repair. Panel replacement without structural repair does not lead to R mark on auction and okay for compliance/roadworthy. Car with RA/R mark may or may not be roadworthy in AU
