  1. This is true. They're both distributors
  2. No Nismo is Nissan Motorsports International N1 is what Nissan called they're "race spec" GTR's when they sold them. N1 has since been used in many other different situations as well (such as to describe racing classes etc...)
  3. Oil Change @ 78.342km on 12/04/2001 Next change @ 81,342 The 2 marks indicate which oil was used and if they changed the oil filter or not which they did.
  4. They are NOT NISMO Headlights... They are N1 lights... the projector style lights are the normal ones

  11. ok time to clarify the story here. The R34's were offered with 2 seperate headlight units. 1 being non-Xenon and the other being Xenon. Xenon's were standard on the GTR and only offered as an option on the GTT's. For compliance they have to be non-xenon as they don't pass ADR's (for ADR's they need to be self adjusting which they are not). Now there are 2 ways to do this. 1 is to put the non-xenon headlights in and the second is to pull the balast and globe out of the Xenon light and put normal halogen globes in. However this method requires re-wiring which is a bitch and a half to reverse if you want to put Xenon's back in. My advise is to put a 6000K HID Kit in. at 12,000K the light will be so blue that you wont get any illumination on the road. I wouldn't go anything above 6000k. 6000K is about the whitest light you will get and will give you the best vision on the road. HID's and Xenon's are technically illegal if the headlight unit is not self adjusting. All of the factory Xenon's you see are self adjusting and hence pass ADR's.
  12. www.buddyclub.com.au are only wholesalers and do not sell to the public. They use distributors in your local area for retail sales. And for the record, there are 2 versions of the P1 Racing II. 1. P1 Racing II - Cast, cheaper wheel (limited sizing and offsets) 2. P1 Racing II Plus - Forged, more expensive wheel (alos available in better sizes and offsets)

  14. If you're staying in the city, you can get a train from Wynyard or Town Hall Station to the Olympic Park station and walk to the stadium from there
  15. nope Mona...
  16. hahahahaha ok admit it boys... how many of you have added Pink Bitz to MSN???
  17. looking at the Electra website, they don't list any bonnets for GTS-t's at all. You can only fit the GTR bonnet to the Series 1 model which was before the faceleft (i.e. 95 model or prior) with some additions such as the latch, latch panel and hinges. looks like you might be out of luck with Electra... try East Bear Sports
  18. a few things guys, You all seem to be quite upset about the money it costs to clean the cars and how the car is still dirty afterwards. Hobbs Bros are not vehicle detailers. They get the Quarantine Direction and are told SPECIFICALLY what to clean. So to pass your car, they only need to clean what AQIS have noted in their first inspection. I'm sure you would do the same thing if you were running their business... why bother cleaning parts of the car that aren't required to be? That's just a waste of time. I'm not going to comment on the money. Also AAT have recently introduced a cleaning service but remember that it can delay the process by a few days. If you pick you car up first thing in the morning @ 7 or 8am there is a good chance that Hobbs Bros will be have your car cleaned as directed and cleared the same day. AQIS are booked with them to inspect cars @ 1pm everyday. So if they're not too busy there is a possibility that they may be able to clean your car and have it cleared the same day. AAT have a booking for 8am. Which means your car arrives, your paperwork is sorted and the car is ready to be cleaned. That's 1 day. The next day the car is cleaned. That's 2 days. On the 3rd Day AQIS inspect the car at 8am and clear it. So as you can see it can delay you by up to 3 days.
  19. probably not, he'd make you clean it all up
