as Duncan has said,
if you take it easy (as you should on your first time out) you'll be fine as far as engine goes. the main concern with your engine is to make sure you don't over rev it and your cooling and support systems are fine.... run a bottle of octance booster on 98RON fuel, run STOCK BOOST, and make sure your coolant is relatively fresh. Other than that there's a few things you need to do on the day to take care of your car but which ever team member or experienced driver you choose to come out with you can make sure you understand all that needs to be done
You're main concern should be brakes, just make sure you got decent fluid and that your pads have plenty of meat left on them... otherwise I'd reccomend bringing a spare set of pads just in case....
I'd also consider getting the discs machined... it doesn't take much and may be a great help to you out on the track
