    AUG - Japan Trip?

LOL 'nark... I tried learning Japanese once and it is pretty damn hard! Way harder than I thought! Anyway, if you guys are going, there are some 80% chance that I am going... I don't think it is a problem. I've been saving up for years since I don't want to spend too much on modifications anymore... Keep me posted, Dudes...

    AUG - Japan Trip?

akeenan: that's right. I ended up taking the bus from the Narita to Shinjuku and it cost me about 30 bucks... My point is, if we are going, we should really know how to read at least some Japanese so that we don't get lost... inark: cool, would you arrange for US to stay at her house, too? Hehehe... Is she pretty?

    AUG - Japan Trip?

Singapore Airlines for that kinda price? It's extremely cheap! I am interested, too. REALLY INTERESTED! The only problem is, none of us speak Japanese, which could be a problem. And besides, the last time I went there, my transport and accomodation cost was like 7 times the airfare itself. It was a week trip in a motel with Japanese traditional paper divider in the room. And we took subways, shinkansens and buses wherever we go. Forget taxi, someone told me it cost like 250 Aussie dollars from the Airport to the Downtown!
  4. What about 300 including shipping and handling to Melbourne?
  5. Won't be in the country until the end of July... I'll let you know by then...
  6. BIG question... S15 apart, what other cars can the 'box fit into?
  7. Real drivers would make do with a standard brake, or anything they got on the car... A proper braking techniques should reduce the lap time, too... Been there, done that... Don't get me wrong, these are some good stuffs... Too bad that I am still not deciding what I will do on my car after college... I think they are just expensive, not over-priced... They should worth every penny if your engine's up to it...
  8. THat's what I thought too... Next question, a BIG one... would you go lower than 350?
  9. Will the ARCs fit into an RB25? I wouldn't mind a slight modification to it...
  10. The only problem with these rims is that I can only use two for my rear (GT-t). If all sales fail, PM me, I might give you an offer. But don't expect it to be a good one, since I will only be using two of these. Wonder if anyone is looking for a Buddy Club P1 II 19s. It's good for an S14, S15 or Skylines (except for GT-Rs)...
  11. Why are you selling your rims? Interested in trade-up?
  12. gtst88, the SMG on an E46 M3 works extremely well. It is better than the manual unit. I used to think that a performance car bar the manual transmission is not a true performance car...
  13. P platters should or shouldn't, Raza? I think you mean should not be allowed to drive a turbo car. On the other side, I think it is not fair to catogorized people by their age when it comes to this. I know a lot of P platers who drive performance cars and drive it like they should... i.e. wiser than most adults in an ordinary car. It's just that the cops need a scape goat. They can't put it on the P Platers, there are simply too many of them. So, instead they put it on us, assuming every young driver who drives a performance car is as reckless as morons behind the wheels. Easy target...
  14. I agree with 900ss and Bozz... The government did nothing but encourage people to speed in order to generate more revenue for them! I do not think these kinds of accidents shall happen should the government give out a proper driver-training program in the first place. It is easy to see that they are not solving the problem for our lives, but they are solving their own financial problem at this stage. If I am not mistaken, the statistics show that more camera does not lower down the number of accidents, they just increase revenue. Now, where is RACV? I thought they are there for the benefits of us, as motorists, not for the government... Correct me if I am wrong.
  15. Soo, still no replacement for displacement???
  16. Stock R34's intercooler is very small and mounted behind the bumper bar. It's about the size of S14's intercooler (factory). The aftermarket ones are much bigger.
  17. Nope, certainly not from an R33 GTS-t to an R34 GT-t... Trust me on this one. Yes, it's hard to find a second hand exhaust. But if I am not mistaken, there is one for sale on www.japanesemotorsport.com.au Check them out, they might be able to help... Or would like to buy mine, instead? Hehehe... I ahve not really decided, though... I might but I am not sure yet at this stage...
  18. If you put it that way, then our idea of interchangeable is different. To me, interchangeable means you do not have to alter anything out of one car and fit the part to the other... But for the exhaust system, you'd have to alter a lot of things in order to fit an R33's to an R34 and vice versa. Probably the entire piping.
  19. I'm not sure in the West... In the East, try ART, S.E., try Evo-R and they'd tell you to go to Amberly's or something in Dandenong...
  20. Exhausts and intercooler are not interchangeable... You'd adjustments in those things to fit either way... We have already proven it... They do not share the same engine, nor do they share the same floor-plan...
  21. Great, white's the best! Hehehe... After all, I think white Japanese sports car is just like a red Ferrari... Don't you agree?
