just leave it oin low (14psi) your HKS gauge is in the bar format as someone already mentioned, this is just in a different reading scale compared to PSI (1 bar = 14.5psi) therefore on a PSI gauge it would be at 14.5 Anyway, just keep it on low boost or below 14.5psi (which is below one bar on the gauge) and your car will be fine. You can determine what its hitting (maxboost) when you drive your car and give it a hit right up to redline, just watch the gauge... if its hitting over 14.5psi, try and get someone locally (like a shop) if you cant figure out how to turn it down. Just pull the outer of the handle mate, be firm with it, they wont break, start from the right and work to the left.. i did it on my r33... wasn't hard at all...theyre just plastic clips, they dont break:)

Depends on the engine you upgrade to, depends on what needs to be done. Eg. Your brakes might be smaller, hence they might need to be upgraded, there are other factors like, engineering (hence if you dont have it your insurance,, well what insurance? it'll be void (happened to a mate)) Ecu, and wiring? you need to get this done.. Also on your plate stating the year and model will state the engine and it'll say something like RB20DE and the RTA know that you would have an RB20DET so they will know it was a transplant. There are alot of hassles, and considering theyre only going for $8,000-$11,000 you can pick them up for, i would just sell and get a new one, unless you were going unique with an RB26DETT transplant, but then again brakes, ecu, harness, engineering + engine mounts will need some attenton. Manual for me!! Though drive my parents SS sometimes which is auto.. and thats still fun.. though i use the 'manual gear selection' insted, or power button:P hehe either of the two I also noticed when heading in or out of corners it wasnt as good as manual, as its to hard to get the gears/rpm right. maybe it just takes lots and lots of practise

yeah, the car has been advanced a bit now, and it runs heapssss better. Though its the coolest time of the year, when summer comes i'll deal with it then. Why do nissan make them so unadvanced from factory???

Hey guys Can someone tell me how many degrees before top dead center the timing is on a RB20E? Im in the process of advancing, and ive advanced the timing 2 degrees, but really need to know the normal setting before i go any further. What are your oppinions on how far i can go? Thanks guys. Dayne

Hey guys, I have a kicker 400.1 class d subwoofer amp, the amp has recently been running off a 7892E alpine head unit, and was fine, not long after i took it out because i took the head unit out (nothing strange happened still was working) Now i've gone to hook the amp back up, and it keeps going into protection mode, then flashes 'on' and back into protection mode, the amp will not power up. Does anyone know what i would look at to see whats up? The fuse isnt gone either, its just strange that its done it all of a sudden. Thanks Dayne

Mate, my car is a 1995 series 1.5 its ment to have an airbag. It had an aftermarket wheel which was taken off before i purchased it, so i replaced it with just a series 1 steering wheel. It has been over the RTA, and nothing was said about it. I've seen 96+ skylines with sports steering wheels, and it didnt matter either. To tell you the truth, the RTA doesnt really know if theyre ment to have them or not, they didnt have a check sheet there to tick off, so if it was rego'd like that, as far as your concerned, it never had one to begin with, nor am i. Yeah mate, got it working, my car only has one coil because of its shit engine. So i wired it up to that, and it worked a treat! finished it off with a nice dual gauge a pillar holder. Looks nice:) thanks for all your help mate, couldnt of done it without ya.
