  1. Mayhem is right. BOV's are technically illegal by the laws of emissions. Once Air has entered the engine via filter, legally(emissions laws) the only way it can leave is through the exhaust. If you got a permit for one, or have been told they are legal then it is the "inDUHviduals" interpretation. We beleive you Met-Blue. Just want some of this permit goodness for ourselves hehehehe I am out to Welshpool soon I thinx. Can you tell me which guy you spoke to ??
  2. It's the DB that makes the Zorst illegal. Cop measured mine. Said they dont permit them FULL STOP. Too easy for you to go round corner and change it. Even though that goes for everything on your car :| As Mayhem said, loop hole so they always got something to sticker you for.

  4. WTF !! I got permits for everything CEPT zorst. Had my zorst tested and it was below limit. But the guy said we dont permit exhausts. This was east perth pits. Damn its annoying how inconsistant this crap is !!! Which pits you got to Metblue ??

  6. PSIKO, I think your not taking street drags seriously then. If your sitting on a 13.02 .... How much is that 1.6 metres going to be F###ing you of ...... Ask Lag Wagon ... He's been there , ran a string of 13.0's ... 1.6 metres would have brought his time in the 12's. I dont want to get into a big arguement about it. I was more interested in finding out whether the 1.6 metres extra is a FACT ! So can we agree to disagree Psiko ?
  7. Ok, Am I correct in saying ..... ?? We agree that it "IS" going to make a difference to your 1/4 time. You just beleive it is so small a difference it wont measure on your time slip ?
  8. Psiko, What i dont think you guys are getting with what steve says is the track is 401.6 metres inestead of 400 metres. FOR EXAMPLE .... And your 60ft is 65 ft so higher time. It is something i would like more info on. I have heard drag racers who are practicing on street nights complaing as it makes it hard for them to compare. I'd like to know for 100 % that it is 1.6 metres longer on street nights. If it is, its a bit of a rip i think, really not taking some of the street cars seriously.

  13. I often wondered how the speed would compare around a small windy track. Even though i have been told countless times its way slower to drift. I seen some D1 cars pull 100 - 200 k's around corners on vids. Gotta wonder how a simlur car would go turning the bend. But then if it was fast, they would race cars, rather than judge them.
  14. it's always funnie when ppl think that there going to get cars so cheap. Maybe one or two people might get one super cheap. As a rule though, the market aint going to drop that much. Just because there going to cost $15k market demand for them will push them up. Otherwise every mofo will own one. Economics 101 - Supply and Demand.
  15. Strich9ine. A car that runs a 12 comes with a certain price tag, no matter what the year or condition. Fast times = dollars. Going back a few years, it used to be a general rule a car that could run 13's was worth 10K min, no matter what year/ condition. Times have changed but principal still applies.

  17. now, i been playing with gt3 and drift a bit lately and are you guys talking fish tailing ? Or in corner dirft ? Or before corner drift ? The s13 drifts hard and complex string is good but the damn straight drive me nuts, with top speed of 180 lol. Yer apricot hill is up there as top track.

In Perth, happy to COD(cept slicks) VL Turbo Manual Tailshaft $250 HKS Turbo Timer $80 Turbo Smart Bleed Valve(As New, red type) $80 2 x Hoosier DOT slicks, race type with normal sidewall 225/50/16 will fit on normal rims(7" or greater). Can be used for drag or track work. Look like 60+% tread to me. There $450 new each. I want $200 the pair, prefer Perth buyer.

  23. SST Anyone ?? They looked after the Silvia WA guys. I went to a dyno day at PSI and they boosted my car WITHOUT asking me. They boosted it no less with a t piece tube. Then to add insult to injury left the t-piece on my car WITHOUT telling me. I drove off and the car was overboosting. Pulled up and discovered the T-Piece. Go to PSI if you guys want but it is at your own perril ........ SST dyno reads the same as PSI anyhow .... REAL FIGURES. Oh and another thing, we almost died watchin the dyno runs at PSI. PSI has no extractor fan and the workshop filled with exhaust fumes. Cough Cough The screen was excellent though. Were ever u go, orginise that !!
  24. Hey PPL. On the cruise, did any one see a dude with a Hand held video camera on the side of the road as we came into Scarborough ? Filming as the cars went past. Or was it just us ? Regards Simon
