  1. a 17k gtr is thats why its dirt cheap
  2. factory limits are not "removed" as such by the emanage , the sensor readings are just fudged not to hit them . this could cause some issues on the 34 as it has more aggressive limits in place . get your factory ecu remapped , that will get rid of the limiters
  3. no fwd bias in the evos - 50/50 split The MR’s AWD system is essentially an adaptation of a front-driver with a center differential that mechanically splits torque 50/50 front/rear and a hydraulically actuated limited-slip device that can progressively lock the front and rear axles together. Like the Subaru, how much lockup is determined by steering angle, throttle position, wheel speed, and front-to-back or side-to-side g-loads. Each of the Mitsu’s three selectable modes (Tarmac, Gravel, or Snow) has widely different priorities and algorithms that even effect the electronic throttle application. We found the Tarmac mode best suited to Willow’s track, although a less grippy surface might’ve made the Gravel mode a better choice.
  4. cowley smash repair or damage control seem to be popular , ive used cowley and their excellent lucky your airbags didnt deploy , i have seen them popped with less impact than that
  5. autronic/motec level ecus are all awesome but price means there not going to become popular like the pfc
  6. that sounds pretty good to me
  7. look for good compression & leak down results general poor condition , paint fading , flaking , excessive wear on seat , wheel , gear shift , door trims . or replaced items indicates high km rust , undercaridge and wheel arches especially accident damage , especially if not a sevs imported car , undercarige again look for new welds/seems in engine bay also not as bad but a pain would be turbos health , eletrical issues and 4wd/4ws problems . but definetly rust , accident damage and engine health are you main concerns . a 17000$ gtr would probably have all of those , save up and get a mint 94 for 30k and then you will get a very nice car
  8. i dont know a lot about rb20s but i would have thought this would be a bit laggy Garrett TO4E Turbo 600hp $1,430.00 have you thought of a engine swap for that sort of cash? if it was me anyway
  9. the 80s rules supreme i changed my 98 gtt sedan for the 95 gtr and the difference in age or build type quality wasnt that much different , both were starting to show their mid life kms and wear but still pretty good there are some old shit 32s around now though
  10. what tuning issues , with the hardware or the tuners ? is the issue the hardware that cant resolve the issues or the tuners cant get the information to resolve the issues ? or they just don't want to? if its a personal preference issue then thats fine , if there are specific technical issues then please someone clarify them
  11. that would depend on why they have that opinion technical reasons or politics ? if someone can give me some technical reasons why the wolf is a problem then I a would love to hear their opinion going to need more than unspecified cold start issues and have seen some dodgy afrs
  12. www.gametraders.com.au go down and talk to your local store , they can get stuff for you

  15. the vw golf has gone awd http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_...vw-golf-r32.htm he car's power is transmitted to all four wheels by way of Volkswagen's 4MOTION all-wheel drive system, which negates traction problems in the wet and the company insists that there is no hint of torque steer that can often hamper front-wheel drive hot hatches. Volkswagen says that, technically speaking, the most important 4MOTION element is the latest generation of the wet (oil bath) plate clutch, because compared with a purely mechanical Torsen differential, the Haldex coupling has the decisive advantage that it can be controlled electronically. Some drivers prefer the purely mechanical Torsen setup seen in vehicles like the Audi S4, the Editor being one of them, while others are keen on electronically controlled systems like the one employed on the newGolf R32.
  16. its a lot of power to put to the front wheels , computer limiting or not and modding it will just make it worse hopefully a next speced up 4wd varient perhaps..... ?

  24. i have had the same experience from jspec one response ages late that the car had already gone not even a response after that its not hard to make a prepared response and change a thing here and there for the specific car , at least it makes potential customers not think their talking to the infinite void
