  1. you never get your money back from mods you have to remember that and your target market would rather build the car than buy , which they could do comfortably with that kind of budget you have to price that accordingly

  4. these wont fit a 32 gtr without modification and its virtually impossible to get different size width wheels with the EXACT same rolling diameter , even 5-10mm difference can cause atessa issues my gtr had atessa issues when i had reletively fresh fronts with bald rears on the same tyre size and brand and wheel width . the difference in tread was enough to throw it out a bit

  8. dont forget other top line options like the motec and autronic sm4 is not that much more than a wolf fitted and tuned equal to it in every regard
  9. there is lots and lots of evidence , pre and post dyno runs in the forced induction forum , search its been pretty well gone over now , no flow increase for the aftermarket plenums at this power level you can convert stock to fwd facing but you have the same problem with uneven air distribution get the proper greddy one if you want to do it , not that expensive and they work properly . just no flow gain. look good though
  10. well over 350hp 350rwkw easy on the stock plenum , apart from the annoying cross over i/c piping its a a very good intake

  15. 3 foot is still nothing your theory is correct but in practise there will be virtually no benefit also lots of the aftermarket (cheaper) plenums are poorly designed , dont flow as well and tend to have uneven air distribution across all the cylinders casing some of them to run rich or lean apart from the visual appearance no benefit has been covered many times in the forced induction section if you want to search
  16. you are seriously limiting your tuner options though if you go with the fcon , because afaik only authorised hks dealers can tune it of which there arent many any autoronic/wolf/motec level ecu with stack of assignable and configurable outputs would be able to do n2o but dont under estimate djetro and controller , you still have all the advantages of the power fc . cheap , plug and play (almost for the djetro) stock ide , stock ac , by far the widest support etc etc etc

  18. there were some threads about turning off closed loop on the power fc and editing the cells around the cruising points directly to improve economy even over closed loop operation but i didnt read in much detail have a search in the forced induction section

  20. theres no closed loop function on the microtech so fuel economy is crap its a very well known issue
  21. the aftermarket plenums are forward facing , so you cut out all the cross over the engine part of the piping but the stock plenum is good for lots of HP and flows very well , not really a worth it just to cut a foot and half of piping out

  23. if they are cheap and shitty ebay dumps then their concerns are well founded but there is a definite power and flow increase in chainging them to a good aftermarket split design
  24. once again we are comparing aparently a 14 year older , $50000 cheaper car is that what it actually takes to make this lard assed bogan boat look good ?
