  1. you can pick up a 34 auto sedan for about 21-22k now 6k for a manual half cut 1k for labour but recover a bit of cost by selling the parts you dont need , ie neo engine say 3k back and you will have your pick of cars if its an auto
  2. have you guys actually seen the ps3 output on hdmi ? xbox is much sharper and clerer over component i was a bit shocked at the unimpressiveness of the ps3 output actually component will do most people just fine most displays and recievers have multiple component input these days if your worried about getting caught short
  3. its true 15 year is over long time now you cant bring in evo III and I doubt or atleast hope no one is dodgy enough to do vin swaps you can bring one in for parts and swap running gear to a GSR
  4. thanks for the reply geoff im actually after the requirements for the Vehicle Incpection Cetificate Signatory for raws compliance for dotars nothing to do with vic roads pls bring back lockbars soon also
  5. does any one know what the qualifications required to be a VIC signatory (to sign out raws complied cars) are ? Or the process to apply to be one ? or anything about it at all ? any info would be helpfull
  6. no problems with mine bit noisy tho
  7. i think so 414-AN012 - - DISCONTINUED Nissan - Skyline ECR33 - Series 1 & 2
  8. i agree , unless its cheap plenty of 34s to look at
  9. it does i got my psp replaced for dead pixels some stores with pimply 12 year old managers will try and not do it , particulary at the psp launch when heaps had dead pixels and everyone was trying to return them and sony didnt want to know but just insist and they will do it
  10. you can not import an evo III for road use at all , they are not on the sevs list . I assume they fail because they are to close to the CC GSR turbo 4wd lancer misti brought in to australia there used to be a loophole in victory to let you bring one in and replace a written off domestic GSR lancer with it but that has been closed you can bring in a race only one if you have or can find someone with a cams license and then you can transfer all the running gear to a CC gsr lancer , the car is virtually identical to the evo III when you are done . its not that difficult but domestically delivered gsrs are getting rarer and expensive so the total cost would probably almost equal an evo VI which you can bring in anyway
  11. this depends on the state , in wa the dealer leagally has to give back the deposit , no questions , no writing anything on the contract all r34s have a cermamic turbine wheel , some have a steel compresser wheel instead of a a nylon one . this is still totally useless though as the ceramic turbine wheel will still let go if my r34 had a hicas lock bar that would definetly be a bonus , stock or not hicas is terrible coils is definetly one to look for tho , very common on 34s
  12. i belive its just wiring changes required for the 25 pfc to work in a 20 , so it should be easily reversable and you would do it to the rb20 loom which would be replaced by the 25 loom when you swap over
  13. manual yes auto yes but ecu integration and control might be tricky
  14. the ap engineering ones were made in low volume by a 3rd party , not apexi
  15. its the same pfc for s1 and sII r33
  16. very nice love the purple
  17. how exactly does the emanage remove ecu limiters ? I think its just limiting the sensor readings before they hit the ecu limit , which isnt as useful you can still get pfc's new for rb25s , there a little more expensive than they used to be but not by much and still good value
  18. i bought a EBC off here COD it was f**ked but intact and thats about all you can tell at the time at the post office when your picking it up
  19. you can still get 25 pfc's new if you look around but they are a couple of hundred more than they used to be still cheaper than a wolf and much cheaper than an autronic
  20. unless you need the extra features of a wolf/autronic/motec type ecu you cant really go past the powerfc plug in , stock idle a/c everything controlled perfectly , the most popular ecu by far with the most tuners by far and cheap only problem is getting the old discontinued ones now but i guess if you got the $$$ to burn go full wolf/autronic style with antilag , launch controll , flat shifting the worx!
  21. was it an option ? cause it looks as factory as factory gets....
  22. I would like to know more too , all the bracing looks 100% factory and knowledgable performance workshops pointed it out as the v-spec bracing. its quite noticable , all around the diff , rear axel , exhauist and up in the front of the chassis too its a real pain to cause it knocks against my exhaust so if its not factory ill rip it out . it looks very very factory though.... i can post pics next time its on the hoist if it helps
  23. half the aftermarket cats dont even have the temp sensor hole nothing will explode
  24. there is a whole heap of extra bracing underneath the car to stiffen it up more basically pay no more , but if you find one then meh you might as well get it and be cool with the v-spec sticker at the back
  25. i would definetly sue your car should be transported via flatbed truck at all times even around different parts of the yard and your atleast up for the cost of new tranny now its been left on a slope in p pray nothing else is stuffed
