The Bride is out of the Supra, it's a bucket seat. Really uncomfortable to sit in as it hugs the body and restricts lateral movement. I prefer something more comfortable. I also have a Recaro and that seems to be a lot more comfortable.
-
Hi Guys, Anyone who has a Recaro seat that they would like to swap with my Bride ?? I find the bucket seat too hard to sit in, probably suit someone who's into racing. Bye Richard.

I don't know about you guys, but if you think these GT wings looks gay on these GT500 Supras, then I'm happy to give up being heterosexual, and go and play on the other side of the fence
-
The GT wing that "franky" posted is similar to a "Top Secret", but not quite. Also I don't think you can get a carbon fibre GT wing for $800. Considering the Top Secret is about $AU3000. Anyway, that can't be me, because the car is not on the road yet .. This is me ..

Buying an NA Supra, help needed
simplelogik replied to SmoothLine's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Hi Smoothline I've sold my modified 95 Skyline for an N/A 96 Supra as well. Haven't looked back ever since. The Supra is definately a nicer car to drive in not to mentioned it's nicer looking As for insurance the NA Supra cost me just as much to insured as a turbo Skyline which is $831 per year. Enjoy your Supra -
Yellow sticker : New 350Z with GT wing

Isn't that some sort of bird that they used in the olden days to test for gas under coal mines?? It's the "Yellow Sticker"!! Someone should take a picture of this mysterious 350Z+GT wing .. I think I'll head into Northbridge with my digital this weekend and see if I can hunt him down ... -

Yellow sticker : New 350Z with GT wing
simplelogik replied to simplelogik's topic in Western Australia
Niz, don't get me wrong. I actually like the GT2 wing.. Heck, I like it A LOT. But for some reason, because of the curve nature of the 350Z, sticking a GT wing on a curved surface doesn't look right. I suppose this is why he attracted the attention from the police. This is on my Supra, but I think the one I saw yesterday was about 50% higher than mine .. Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder -
Hehe .. I thought this is funny! I was having a late lunch at Northbridge yesterday, when I walked past this beautiful brand new dark blue 350Z with a riced-up GT wing parking outside Gelare !! I thought to myself, this is blasphemy :whatsthat How can someone stick a really high GT wing on this car .. On closer inspection I noticed that the GT wing is the same as the one on my Supra (Top Secret GT2 carbon fibre) . Anyway, as I walked past the front of the car I noticed it had a P-PLATE AND A YELLOW STICKER. Poor kid must have had the “defect sticker” due to the GT wing. :Paranoid: Conclusion : Black GT wing on a blue 350Z doesn't look right http://www.titanmotorsports.com/topsecgt2car.html

And with the top down !!! Whoooo hoooo ...

Arrghh .. $50K ?? The standard Echo is $14990! Actually did any one see the Daihatsu Copen at the Perth motor show ? I thought it was pretty spiffy Shame about the power output though (Kei class restriction), but 100Kw on this car would be awesome
-
I was having a nice stroll back to work after having a sh*tty lunch at Lamont in East Perth and notice a parked Echo with riced up body kit parked on the river front, but as I walked past it, I noticed a FMIC !!!! I thought to myself this can't be real!! ? So I asked the guy who's doing the photoshoot if it's really a turbo? He replied "Yep", but it's the only one in Australia. How cool is that ?? A Turbo Echo !?? http://www.pbase.com/image/6372832 PS : Don't have quail at Lamont It's like like having Ethiopian chicken

As in please come down to custum and fill in these forms before we can release the item. In the past it just goes straight to the post office and I go and pick it up. But this time the guy who sold the 8450 to me declared it as $US650, which means that I had to pay GST, but I explained the situation to custom saying that it's 2nd hand and I bought it for less than $AU500. In the end they let me go without paying GST. In the future make sure that you ask the seller to declare it less than $AU500 if you don't want to get hassled by custom.
-
As long as the GST is less than $50 then you don't have to pay. So make sure that your total cost including shipping is not over $AU500. Also it's a hit and miss situation, I got a notice from custom when my MP3 arrived but for all the other items that I bought over the Net, I never had problems with custom.
-
Greg !! You're just too greedy !!!!
-
Realistically my next car will be a yellow 91 NSX .. But "wet dream" is a Pagani Zonda.
-
I got mine 2nd hand on Ebay for $US330 including shipping to Perth.

Yep, it's N/A. Yeah, looking at it closely, the GT wing does look like it's wider than the body.. Gee hope it doesn't decapitate anybody Bully : Thanks for the suggestion and funny enough got an offer from James on the Supra forum mtam : good luck in getting your car into the country.

Yep, I prefer the original steering wheel as well, after all I rather my face hitting an air bag rather than a solid wheel in a crash. Hmm seems like most people don't like the GT wing, but I think it's quit cool
