  4. Well the time has come to finally sell my pride and joy. I have owned this car since Jan 2005. It was my first car and has been my daily driver since then. It is a 1995 White, Manual GTS-T R33 Exterior: This car has been well looked after, and recieved a full respray in factory white about 2 years ago via Vu at DT Panels. This was done the same time the guards were rolled and lipped to make sure the paint all matched. The guards have been rolled out just enough to cover the wheels and the paint work is in excellent condition. The car also has a TOPSTAGE front bar and an "XR8" style bonnet which suits the car very well. There is some very very light hail damage on the roof which is hardly noticable but i'd rather disclose it upfront. I have tried to keep the exterior of the car as neat and minimal without adding huge bodykits, so the standard m-spec side skirts and series 2 spoiler has stayed the same, as well as the rear bar. Interior: The interior has been kept pretty standard, I have sprayed the interior surrounds, eg around the stereo and door handles, window switch surrounds, in silver, but also have the original black ones if you wish to swap them back to standard ones. All seats are in excellent condition, as well as the dash and factory floor mats. The car has a headunit with aux input, it also has a 7" screen with a cord that plugs directly into an ipod or iphone so you can play videos directly onto the screen and through the headunit. Engine: The car has just gone 100,000kms. It had it's 100k service done at 88,000kms so all belts etc have been changed. The engine mods are as follows: Haltech e11v2 including all MAP sensors and electronic boost control. This has had all wires lengthed and is now stored hidden away in the glovebox with the standard ECU still in it's original place with "dummy" wiring. FMIC 740cc Nismo injectors SARD Fuel Pressure Regulator Tomei Exhaust CAM gear Bosch 044 fuel pump Clutch is a excedy heavey duty organic button clutch. Grabs hard and fast with no slipping. The clutch is brand new. The engine oil is Motul 300v and the gearbox oil is redline shockproof. Exhaust: The exhaust is a full system consisting of a split dump pipe, highest flowing legal cat, then finished off with a zigen5 3 inch system ending in a 4 inch tip. It has a good racing look on it without the cheap cannon look. Also has a really good sound. Not too loud on idle but sounds amazing on tap. All free flowing and allows the engine to breath really well. Suspension: All suspension has been upgraded so the car handles like it's on rails. It has the following: Front strut brace fully adjustable castor arms. Full whiteline and Bilstein set up designed specifically by SydneyKid. This means Bilstein shocks fully adjustable swaybars shocks, pineapples. All areas are adjustable and can be setup how ever you desire. HICAS lockbar Wheels: The wheels are a limited edition and a one of a kind produced by Work Wheels from Japan in this color. They are Work Emoution XT7 in an 18"x9.5 with a +12 offset. They are a matte gunmetal color. They are a big wheel and look really tough on the car. Security: The car is fitted with a Viper pager alarm, and I have 2 remotes. It also has an auto start and built in turbo timer. With just a upgraded turbo and a tune this car will make 300-350rwkw no problems. Im sure there is lots of stuff I've forgotten but just ask me or i'll update as I remember. Reason for sale is that I need to get a ute for work so I would be open for a trade for a VE SSV Ute plus cash your way, must be a ute.   12. Is it possible that the coilpacks could be possible for not letting it start at all? If the ignition modules are shot?
  13. I probably should've explained myself a little better. I have another thread with an outline of the problem here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ca...29#entry4803129 Basically the car wont start and i've checked a lot of stuff. I think it's actually the ignition module inside the coil pack as apose to a crack in the coil pack. When i tested it it would get an intimitant spark but was not very strong. Also the car would just about fire but not quite. So i pretty much jsut want to see what happens when i just some new coil packs in with fresh ignition modules and hopefully that will solve it.. Thanks for any help guys.

    Coilpakcs

    Hey guys, Just wondering if anyone has some coilpacks i could borrow to test out if my problem is indeed my coilpacks. It's a series 1.5 so I would be looking for series 2 coilpacks, and if it is my coilpacks i'll go out and buy some splitfires. I just want to avoid buying them if i don't need them. I'm in the camberwell, ashburton area and would only need them for a night. Thanks guys.
  15. So i thought i would take out the ignitor pack and try a new one of them. Well i thought it may have been relocated somewhere but looks like i don't actually have one now. The car is a '95 so i'm wondering is it possible that i have series 2 coils where the ignitor is inside the coil and how do i check this? thanks guys also anyone have some coils i can borrow?
  16. Yeah i thought about that and it didn't seem to help. It wont turn over no matter how you try to start it. Not sure if i mentioned when testing the spark it didn't seem consistent. I meanlike after a while it didn't look like i was getting a spark anymore. Plugs are clean enough, o i assume it's coil packs, ignition module, or something else associated with the spark. Does anyone know anyone who might be able to lend me some known good coild packs so i can test it. Also does anyone know why it wouldn't jus tturn over on 4 cylinders for example. They can't all be screwed. This might lend it to being th igntor module?

  18. Hi guys, sorry about the essay Got an interesting problem and i'm sure it has a pretty easy solution and i'm just not thinking of it, so here are some details. I have lost my licence so haven't been driving in the last few months. My car has been driven by my mate (with me present so nothing unusual) anyway it hadn't been started in about 2 weeks. The car has an auto start, so i figured i should just turn it on and start it while i was doing stuff around the house, anyway it started for about a second then stalled (unfortunatly it's not that uncommon with the auto start if it hasn't been started recently) anyway it tried to start again and wouldn't fire. I tried pulling the spark plugs and cleaning them and it still wont fire, it nearly gets there but wont turn over. The spark plugs were changed about 2 months ago so i only cleaned them up with a wire brush. a few of them were pretty badly covered but cleaned up ok. at least 3 were pretty good looking. Although after trying to turn it over i pulled one of the plugs and it was pretty dry from memory. When i go to start it i can still hear the fuel pump priming, and can hear it running into the engine bay, so i don't think it's that. I havn't changed the timing or the CAS so i have just checked that the plug is in correctly, seemed ok. i have pulled all the coil packs and had a look. i couldn't see any fractures in them but i doubt i would've seen them anyway. i checked to see ifit was getting any spark by trying to hold the coil pack and turn it over. At first I thought i saw a few white sparks, then what looked like an orange. I also recieved a small jolt from the coil pack. (Could this mean it's cracked?) The mods are basically: Haltech e11v2 and all sensors also it's MAP boche 040 or 044 i can't remember which one i ended up putting in (it's in tank) nismo 740cc sard fuel reg adj cam gear fmic they are the mods that are associated with it that i can think of. i have checked any connections i can think of. I have a few theories but not sure. They are; Busted Coil packs. (but why wont it turn over on 3 or 4 cylinders, surely they can't all have gone at once?) Busted CAS. how common do they just stop working for no reason after not being touched? Faulty ignitor module? Faulty fuel pump even though i can hear it blocked injecters? faulty ground for the coils There were a few other theories i had but can't remember at the moment. Any advice or ideas would be great, or any other symptoms or ways to test any of my theories would be great. or if anyone has a set of coil packs i could try that would be good. i just don't understand why it woldn't just fire and run on say 4 cylinders unless there is a guard against that with the ecu?   20. Thanks for all the input guys. Sounds like there might be a bit around. I've done a little bit of airbrushing but mainly using stencils and 6-8mm painting tape. I'm going to try and get the free hand suff going and mabe work on doing things like flames etc. not really my thing but i think it will help make me better at it. Can i grab the address or something for that bonnet? would be perfect. Might try that and see how i go. Also a mate has an old R33 bonnet with a massive dint so i'll try that as well. Any ideas what i should airbrush on it.
