MotoMan replied to Keeper's topic in General Automotive Discussion
perhaps some of that $7k should have been spent on insurance.. or getting the alarm installed... -
R33gtst/gtr Hks Super Drager
MotoMan replied to ChrisR33GTS-T's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
HKS superdrager sounds like this Short Vid (900KBS) awesome exhaust.. nice without droning.. and really roars when floored -
this coming from someone who it appears is trying for a GTR wannabe gtst? *looks at wanted parts* Everyone has different tastes... that's what makes this world great.. im not a huge fan of alot of the posted r33's.. but im happy with mine and thats all that matters...
-
Im rating 1, 24 years old... never had an accident/made any claims.. also ride a 650cc motorbike rating 1 rang shannons.. wont insure me for a stock R33 Gtst as im "too risky" Said to call back after ive have some experience with it.. needless to say shannons can lick the sweat off my balls.. wont ever insure with them

Finally Got Some New Rims. P1s, And Now With Ssrs!
MotoMan replied to siddr20's topic in Cosmetic, Styling & Respray
Thats one of the hottest r34's ive seen in a long time... rims suit it perfectly -
simple.... mongoose.. The viper isnt Australian standards.. and only 1 point immob... mongoose m80g is 3 point with glass break sensor and turbo timer interface
-
Vspec has active lsd? im sure there are more differences.. Is this the wing your are referring too? That's on my car.. and its just a GTR wing
-
nope not everyone... And ffs.. how hard can it be to go for a 1-2hour cruise... its not like its the event of the friggen year..
-
Wont get that without a turbo... Thats an Atmo venting blow off valve.. and it doesnt whoosh every gear change.. only if the turbo has spooled enough
-
If the turbo timer is still running.. you have to hold down the lock button.. not just press.. Idle will dip slighly, doors will lock and the engine continues to run until the turbo timer is done.. 10 seconds after the timer finishes the car arms the immobilisers.. If it isnt working like this you may need to get it looked at.. The m40 doesnt have this feature.. only the m60 and m80 models..
-
A 250CC maybe... but any decent sportsbike is going to put down a 0-100 time in 3ish seconds either that or the biker didnt even bother.. I know i dont when cars try and drag me on the bike
-
Prepare to eat your words... im in Viewbank.. North East FTW! I saw 2 R33 GTR's at Moskitos last night.. one with P plates.. WTF!>?
-
Crikeys... i may as well come along too then.. Only if you promise not to bite!

How Long Do You Run Your Turbo Timer For?
MotoMan replied to mitchy_'s topic in Forced Induction Performance
Just let mine auto select... generally its no more than 10 seconds.. People seem to think a turbo timer lets your thrash your car then just switch off and walk away.. I believe the best term has been used already.. "Mechanical sympathy" Anyone driving the rings off their car and thinking a turbo timer is going to cool the whole thing down is a knobjockey.. plain and simple -
Nice car... would be the first car i bought if i won tatts.. Although it appears someone else is claiming it as their car

Cant Wash Your Car With A Hose...
MotoMan replied to Modena's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Wow... can you say ripped off.. we have the same thing here.. although its called car lovers.. local one is $1 for 2mins 30secs I don't go to car lovers with my line.. That brush scratches the shit outta your paint.. doesnt matter how much you rinse it before use -
Cant Wash Your Car With A Hose...
MotoMan replied to Modena's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I just use a GMC pressure washer at home... still allowed to do that in stage 2 restrictions.. Car lovers sucks... The high pressure spray is recycled water.. full of crap and detergents still.. The only way to do a good job is at home with a High Pressure washer and a bucket of soapy water.. Also found a great new product yesterday... Turtle Wax ICE!... its like baby oil for your car.. so smooth and shiny now.. Results from this morning -
