I need to get some upper front spring seats / strut tops to use in my Stagea with Bilstine shocks and Whiteline springs. I don’t have the stock shocks and springs so can’t use them as donors.
The Stagea front end is essentially the same as a R33 GTR so R33GTR parts would be fine to use but probably more expensive than GTS-t parts and harder to get.
Dose any one know if the GTS-t parts are interchangeable with GTR bits?
I think they probably are but would like to be sure before I get some.

Would R33 GTS-t front shock be suitable to use as donors for the upper spring seats?
I don’t have the stock shocks from my car and it would probably be cheaper and easier to get hold of some stock GTS-t shocks rather than GTR or Stagea parts.

Looks good. Do you know it's it is suitable for Exterior or under bonnet applications?

Thanks for that Gary the rear goes together fine I just thought the bigger front spring was actually the rear.
The front spring seem to big to sit on the lower spring seat I assume the end that tapers in is the bottom but I looks like the spring will push it's self over the seat when any pressure is put on it.
I will measure the bar and let you know how I go

Brad you can get universial bump stops and dust covers from whiteline or through SK the part number is W021 they are around 60 for 2.

Friging rear sway bar won’t fit ether. It seems like it is about an inch too short.
When lined up at one end it is too short to allow the mounts to fit on at the other end.
I can’t move the mounts any further along the bar.
Having the links on the softest setting also seems to put them on a strange angle that will twist and distort the bushes.
The smaller spring fits ok but not perfectly onto the rear shock but the bigger spring has too big a diameter to fit on the front lower spring seat.

I have got myself a bit confused with the assembly of the springs on the shocks.
I can’t work out what springs are for the front and what are for the rear and what end is the top and bottom of them. Nether seem to fit quite rite in the lower spring seats.
I have a set of stock Stagea rear shocks that came with the car but not the front. I have teni coil overs in it at the moment.
Can I use a set R33 GTS-t shocks as donors for the upper spring seats or do I need to find some stock R33 GTR or Stagea shocks to use?

So how many people do we have in for a tow bar group buy from Prestege?
What weight rating are we all after I need to ba able to tow my Dato 1600 at around 800kg plus trailer.
We may be able to boost the numbers and make it cheper for us all by geting prestege to make a kit that can be purchased by interstate buyers.

I will be in for a tow bar group buy from prestige. They did one on my R33 and I was real happy with it. It was only rated to 850kg but that was all I wanted at the time. I would like to be able to tow my Datsun 1600 rally car with the Stage so would need a heavier duty one.

SK Who is your contact at Whiteline who actually knows what is going on and what a Stagea is?
I ordered everything but the rear shocks and springs over a month ago and have not seen anything yet. I didn’t bother with the rear shocks or springs because it was just too hard to get them to understand what I was after.
I would like to contact them to get my order adjusted to include the rear shocks and springs, add the read sub frame alignment kit and get the discounted prices but I can see it all being just too hard.

What about a R33 or R34 skyline one. It should be able to me made to fit.

What about your brakes and suspension? You don’t want to put brown streaks on your new seats.

Yes I still have it and would be happy to get rid of it. I think it cost me $400 or so. Make an offer, you pay shipping.

A tow bar on a Skyline is fine. You can't even see it when the tong is removed and it tows fine but maybe not a hose float. Have a look the pics of mine.Click

I might take you up on that offer. What do you want for them? The prices I listed are the recommended retail prices off their web site, I should be able to get them down on that a bit but if not a 15% discount through you sounds good.
The diary is free on the 23/24th so I will probably drop down to Sandown to say hello and give you a hand if needed even if you’re not bringing stuff down for me.

There is a cable operated drum brake on each wheel inside the disk. It is a separate mechanism to the Disk brake caliper and has its own pads.
They should be exactly the same as on any R32 on Skyline.
