  1. hey all, As you know im in the market for a ceffy and im just getting some prices before i actually buy the car. I was wondering how much it was to get your cefiro complianced and if you did the job at home or got a compliance workshop to do it? what was required to get it complied? what had to be taken out? how much it cost you all up to get the car on the road? and if you would be able to give me a run down on what everything cost. if you were able to keep trck of it. i have done a search but it all seems to be for the 2-door cars. Or other 4doors not cefiros in particular. i have found a car in Japan that im dead set on getting once i sell my bloody 180 grrrr. so frustrating. your help would be greatly appreciated. cheers Benny.
  2. i may also be able to arrange a RWC for the car.
  3. its good to see that Australia had an input into building that car. It may not have been much but atleast they were involved i recon. The company Davies and Craig is actually an Australian company who make thermo fans and electric water pumps.

  10. in my S13 i used a GTR rear sway bar in my car and it worked a treat. really tightened up the rear end and was really worth it. cheaper also than buying an aftermarket one. it was an R32 GTR rear sway bar.
  11. my baby has to go as i have now got other plans. For sale:1990 nissan 180sx Asking Price: $10 000 ono Kilometer's: 150 xxx (rebuilt though) Manual or Automatic transmission: Manual Engine Type: CA18DET I have only owned the car for about 9 months buy after recent events i am wanting to sell her to buy a larger car. The car is very clean with the occasional bump and scratch here and there. but thats what you get with a 15 year old car. I have spent every cent i earned on it. and it has had a good home with me since ive had it. i bought the car when it was dead stock. Not a single modification on it. mods: T25g turbo 3" catback exhaust. PIAA rims Apexi turbo timer bigger rear sway bar Walbro fuel pump JIC coilovers HKS boost gauge. (mounted on pillar) 3 Omori gauges (oil pressure, oil temp, exhaust temp mounted in DIN pocket) Razo shifter momo steering wheel K&N pod filter Rear Strut brace handbrake button Exedy heavy duty clutch East Bear Clear Indicators i have recently also found out the motor had been rebuilt just before it had come into the coutry. So this is a CA that isnt lacking which is something which can be quite common in CA's. i havent boosted the car with this turbo and it has only just been fitted. less than a month ago. I have taken an extreme amount of care with this car, as i love it emensely.everything in the interior works and works well. I will be selling the car with all its stock bits and pieces. which are exhaust airbox suspension steering wheel sway bar Din pocket 4 CA rims I was asked to have the car at autosalon as it is a very nice looking car. The colour is oiginal and it has never been resprayed. and it has never been in a major accident. just the frontbar was dinted so it was replaced. PM me for more details. thanks guys. PM me for more pics, or talk to me on MSN my addy is [email protected], my phone number is 0401 528 114. call whenever
  12. in my opinion dont touch tein. they are to expensive to rebuild and are very soft.
  13. i have one on my CA 180 and it says you cant use it but i do and it seems to work fine.
  14. ferodo list ones for the AWD versions, A32 and many more that were also sold in Japan. but the Part numbers i gave you are for the A31 import 88-93 model RB20DET RWD. so it should be right. if you would like i can order a set for you through work at 25% off. or i cann just get a price for you. cheers Benny
  15. did you have any luck finding the part number for those brakes pads? i called up and got the part numbers for Ferodo. All you need to do is disregard the first two letters and use the numbers unless you want ferodo pads and then use the numbers. fronts = DB 1148 Rears = DB 1144 I think the bendix part number is: fronts = DB 1148 AD rears = DB 1144 AD there for Bendix Advance pads. So infact the part number for Bendix is interchangeable. Bosch part numbers are DP instead of the DB if you wanted them. but i found after heavy braking the bosch pads turn fairly ordinary very fast, and create alot of dust. I use ferodo's on the front of my 180 and Bendix advance on the rear. i found it is a good combination, i have the more expensive pads on the rear because i drift it, and there better for lock ups. Either way they are fine. i have also found the the Bendix pads do not create as much dust.
  16. yeah im pretty sure that company is BN. they have the kit on i think its HPI 8 on a dark green 4 door. looks good on the 4 foor actually not like a dress on a silvia or 180.
  17. believe it or not if you head down to superchear auto they have the part number listed there, i think its in teh ferodo catalogue. but if you grab the part number from there all the part numbers NOT letters interchange with each other. i found this out today when i was at work (super cheap auto) if you have any more trouble gimme a yell and ill call em up and grab it for ya.
  18. yeah that was me..... i was going to buy a ceffy before the 180 buy got impatient. but now i want one again so the 180's for sale.
  19. hey man, im off ns.com aswell. ive seen your car quite a few times and it definately has some power in it. i know when i first saw it, i thought it looked like another plain 32 4 door. that was untill you opened the bonnet. im [punk_180] of nissansilvia.com. im currently selling my 180 to buy a cef and get in with the 4 door crowd.
