  1. Talk to Kudos Motorsport (in the traders section) He will sort out a Genuine Exedy unit for you at a great price (cheaper and better than an extreme, and not a mix and match kit like so many others out there which fail very quickly), I got mine delivered in 3 days. GTR clutch and light weight flywheel cost me just over $1000 delivered. As for installation, if you're north try Rhemac Motors in Gawler, talk to John. Since they are a machine shop (the best in SA) they can skim your flywheel in house and possibly save you a bit of time/money. They fitted mine, plus s.p.i.g.o.t bush for under $400(don't quote me on that)
  2. Do budget do flat tops? Fly over, pick up truck, drive back, drop off truck in adelaide. Have u tried looking into railing it over here?
  3. Just what I was thinking. Can you get a small inspection mirror down there, like what a dentist would use?
  4. Check along the channel around the boot operning, in particular where the rear guards join on. In my old 33 the sealant they used had cracked along there. The water would get into the crack and run between the panels towards the rear and drop onto the top of the light. I originally tried resealing my lights because it looked like that was where it was coming from, but it wasn't. I used 5min aroldite along the crack to fill it. Fixed the problem for the next 2 years that i owned the car and you could barely tell i had done anything as it all set clear. I'm sure any sealer would work, it just will look more obvious
  5. I'm using Nulon in my S1 RS4, daily driven. It "seems" ok but i will shortly be doing a UOA to see for sure. Will know in the next couple of weeks.
  6. If it doesn't clash with anything i'll be there.
  7. The springs probably bottomed out also, causeing shock loading which made it crack. I'm no expert on clutches but I know my metals, those cracks look like a combination of high temps and shock loading. I was just saying the other day at vilis that i didn't like those clutches after a bad exerience I had with mine.
  8. I know who was looking for one..............
  9. Kubos motorsport, do good GENUINE Exedy clutches, all parts branded Exedy, not mix and match crap. Talk to him, very helpfull, good quality and great prices. There are some RB25/30s running these clutches, i'm pretty sure cubes was impressed with his.
  10. Watching Bathurst, just spotted blue mesh on car 34, had a bit of a chuckle!
  11. ^^^^^pretty sure it's a nylon compressor wheel, ceramic exhaust wheel but i may be wrong and it may have a steel exhaust wheel. Definatly not a nylon exhaust wheel as it would vaporise at those temps.
  12. Matt/satin black might have been better but they do look better than in the first pic.
  13. Maybe it keeps falling off when you drive too hard, so it makes you drive slower
  14. Hmmm, that's what I thought too, maybe cos it's a NISMO kit it wasn't in production for as long
  15. Could be timing belt related also. After I put on a Gates racing belt I had a whine when the car was at idol, turns out some of the paint had come off the belt and stuck to the tensioner - idler bearings. Cleaned them off, loostened the belt a touch(after it had been run in for a reasonable amount of time) and the noise went away.
  16. Ok, so far I've been into Motortraders, Sprints, Supercheap, Autobahn, Nissan, 2 paint and panel places and done a lot of searching on the net. The closest I can come up with is a Hyundai & Kia Headlight Assembly Grommet Whith is nothing like the original. No one seems to make much for round holes, there is heaps of stuff atound for square holes and smaller round holes but very very little in the size that we need. I went into another Nissan dealer today, we managed to find the side skirt fitting kit, and the end cap(I'm missing one too) but unfortunatly the trail ended there, the part was no longer listed or something.
  17. I'm trying to find a part number for the grommets and screws that secure the nismo and probably other side skirts onto a '98 S1 RS4 stagea. The ones i need fit into a 10mm round hole under the car, the plastic bit pushes into the body and then there is a screw which screws in fastening the metal side skirt bracket to the body. I've been into nissan but thew weren't much help and pretty much gave up before they started and the one they did come up with was a square plug. If I'm not asking to much could someone also look up the clips that snap in from the side also, I found some that half work but if i could get the correct one that would be great. Thanks Aaron

  22. Give away!! Front and rear sway bars to suit a Stagea RS4. Standard items, they are taking up space and to big for our already full bin.
  23. No idea, I can't remember the branding on mine. I can however remember atleast part of what was written on it "......so you don't miss your favorite show when you're behind the wheel" Aren't the Japanese so safety consous
