Horse shit. It's like anything - you get what you pay for. For example, you won't get a genuine low km (i.e. less than 50,000km) Stagea for less than $18K landed and complied. If it's showing that few km and you're paying less, the odometer has been hit. I'm not saying it's hard to do, just that there are plenty of low km cars available in Japan....at a price.

*EDIT* Sorry R32, not R34 - can a mod change it for me please? I hadn't either till last night - it was a one-off done by Autech (separate from the Skyline26). It was an R32 GT-R sedan essentially. Got an "R32 GT-R Best Album" book from a mate who's just got back from Japan. Slow reading (it's in Japanese naturally), but very interesting stuff.

Interestingly, SA doesn't allow any tint whatsoever on the front windows any more - same as Japan! The rears can go as dark as 35% VLT from memory. Having said this, I bought a Territory from Ford with factory tint on the front windows... In other words, no tint when it goes through Recency, then off to the nearest tinter

It's $500 - I got a camera in from O/S via eBay and had to give proof that it was less than this in order to avoid duty and GST.

That's understandable - everyone's booked the boats full of the last remnants of the 15 year rule. Everything's pretty slow at the moment - BLO1, Adelaide is only delayed by a few days in Customs - I hope they get themselves sorted out soon. The old system worked fine IMO.

Awesome - that would be super rare then. Is it a personal import? Working totally from memory, those rims came out on a minor facelift circa 1996. Man I sound like such a trainspotter!! lol

hahaha - well yes, I do import, but mainly for fun, not for a living. Oh and back on topic, the R34 front is the shizzle - I love it.
