  2. Good one Bobbo , Danny was too soft on it Ya gotta stop buying the GTR's I bring in , that's 2 you have owned now. When ya gonna buy Mickos or sharons and make it a 3 some ?? Or even better , buy my current one. One for track and one for drag then ?? hehe Cheers Ken
  3. Not necessarily , they normally run rich all things being correct. I think you still may have a problem with your fuel pump. Cheers ken
  4. Think I would rather a little less HP and a lot safer a/f ratios. 12.5 or so after it has come on full boost is a little lean. Wind down your boost until you sort out if the problem is injector flow or fuel pump. BTW , why can't workshops turn the bottom scale from kmh to rpm . It's not hard and is a lot more useful for comparisons regarding spool up , lag etc. Cheers Ken
  5. Are these in Perth or still in Japan. If in Perth , will take both of them. To flyinng.. 1K for the complete kit... rofl. Do your homework first before making claims like that Cheers Ken
  6. We have a complete RB20 engine , with wiring harness and computer for $1300. If you are a member of SAUWA we will give you a 10% discount. It is the 4wd version so will require a sump modification. Cheers Ken
  7. 4.5 litres with the filter. 4.2 without. Any extra oil cooler or using the larger Z32 type oil filter will change it slightly. 5 litres will be enough. Cheers Ken

  9. Noone I know of in WA can remap a stock R33 GTS-T ecu. Can be done using a different computer but requires rewiring plus a few other tricks. Cheers Ken
  10. Thankyou Jason, your reward will be in the mail... Seriously , all workshops can and do make mistakes, it's all part of the process and the idea is to find a shop who are experienced at working on your particular type of vehicle. Talk to the shop , tell them what you want. Some peoples expectations far exceed what the shop is capable/willing to do for the money people want to pay. If you pay KMart prices, you will get KMart results... Mods, I think this thread has run its course and should probably now be closed. Ohh , and in answer to a certain member on this forum who is doing his best to discredit a couple of shops who put a lot into the Import car scene in WA , you may have your people who agree with you but I can assure you there are more who are saying your just a silly little boy... Cheers Ken
  11. There are a heap of shops around, some of which specialise in Jap import. NIB is correct, don't believe what some of the people on here say in regards to the shops avaliable. Unfortunately you can't please everyone all the time. As a suggestion try some of the following XSpeed Hyperdrive Motorsport Top Racing Speedworks Cypher Industries Supertec Raheem plus a few others that I can't remember. Ring them, talk to them and make your own mind up as to who you want. As said before , don't let some of the people here bias you just because they think they got a dud deal. Cheers Ken
  12. Turbo back exhaust systems are fine but you will need the Cat. XForce and a few others do a turbo back with hiflo 3in Cat for around $1600 in stainless steel. Cheers Ken

    Vspec

Wouldn't be at a caryard in Vic park Cannington by chance ? Thought this was done to death last week.
  14. $1100 to tune an SAFC ??? !!!! Surely you must have made a mistake? An SAFC tune would take about 1hr and we charge approx $150. You could just about ship the car to WA and back for the price.... That has GOT to be incorrect with the pricing $1100..jesus ! We are living in the wrong state.
  15. To add to this, we relooked at the tune on a cooler day and got about 250rwhp ( I think) out of it with a bit more adventurous timing and a little more boost. We tend to try and run a conservative package in timing if possible but Anton seemed a little disappointed with the previous result so we try to please.. The auto basically gave up the ghost with the clutch packs/bands starting to smell after a few runs. Anton seemed happy when he left and I hope the auto is still driving Cheers Ken
  16. Bumpola and price drop to $700.
  17. OK, I have tried to stay out of this but unfortunately will have to reply. By now I think that most people would know that the 2 shops in question are us and **** so that saves hearing a slightly biased view on what has happened. In regards to the machining, when the client ( Brad ) has a very expensive HKS stroker kit, which btw we organised for him through another client at 1/2 retail price with no markup from us, we only trust one shop. The said shop is very busy, they were going through a restructuring and the time frame blew out. We had little control over that as we aren't the ones doing the machining. At most times we answered the numerous phone calls/questions/concerns that Brad had over a range of items and issues during his time with using us ( and that dates back to his RB26 Commodore)and am sorry to see it has got to this. The head porting issue with **** ( which btw Brad, your Dad said was done when he came in here about 1 month ago... ) is probably due to a w/shop staff shakeup down there and the fact there head tuner/engine builder is quite ill. Like any performance shop around Perth, we try and do the right thing as much as possible by the client but sometimes the expectations/time frames can be unrealistic. I understand Brads frustration and I do feel sorry that he was stuffed around but as stated, we only arranged the machining, we weren't actually doing it. I think that the views expressed by yourself are a little emotional and you must realise that as expressed by Liz, calling us a bunch of wankers won't win you favours with too many shops. As I also explained to your father, you were/are more than welcome to come and discuss any further issues but as your father also said, you spend too much time on the internet and get too many different opinions which makes it hard to then have a clear view of what you wish to achieve. Cheers Ken Edited to protect the other shop. They may post as well.
  18. My suggestion would be to get it onto a proper fast acting wide band lambda meter, ie. the type you will find at a dyno shop. I think those Autometer a/f meters are a bit hit and miss. I would be using a Bosch 044 over a Walbro pump and haven't had too many people complain about the ones we have fitted. The walbros that come in on customers cars on the other hand... Cheers Ken
  19. Item: Power FC with Handcontroller to suit R34 GTR Location: Perth W Australia Reason for Selling: Upgraded to D Jetro Price and Payment Conditions: $800 Extra Info: Works perfectly Contact Details: Phone Hyperdrive on 089 209 3100 or send me a message or reply in this thread. Note that this is selling on behalf of one of our clients but we can confirm it works perfectly. Car made 401rwhp on RB20 meters and 550cc injectors plus N1 terbs with a very conservative boost and timing map Was originally on 3SUM from QLD and the car was built and maintained by Gavin Wood Technologies so age of the puter is unknown.
  20. On behalf of Glenn Yes it's manual Still for sale It's in Perth Cheers Ken
  21. Sorry chicky but we don't do Wolf 3D any more. Too much drama and not enough technical support. The 3 shops that still tune Wolf are ( I believe) X Speed ( Myaree) PSI ( Wangara) Top Racing ( Bentley) Purely your choice as to who you use and I am not going to get into a who is better debate ( again..) But just to add , if the car is 4WD , PSI has a 4WD dyno and X Speed use Formaz's dyno for the 4WD stuff. Don't know about Top Racing Cheers Ken
  22. Yep , sure are. Can also do S13/S14, 300ZXTT , Laurel, Cefiro, R31 ( some) plus a few others. Only problem for you is distance. Perth is a little way from Melbourne.. Cheers Ken
