I used to use a 50" TV for web browsing - Was friggin awesome!!! But TV's work in sRGB color space. Not Adobe RGB. They are also WELL off in colour calibration. Oh well, was just letting you know

I'll only buy you some Sidd if your energizer batteries are faster than eneloops You can buy them at dick smith or online. I think its about $30 for a 4 pack. Buy two packs of them and it'll be the best $60 you ever invested!!!!! Oh and where was your battery pack for the wedding on the weekend, i forgot to have a look at it.

Thanks Blitz Joeley - Sweet pics mate! Although, You need to tone down on adding so much contrast, its too saturated and has kind of a pink cast to some of the photos. I like some of your compositions. Keep it up mate.

Which batteries you talking about? Your box of thieved batteries from work or the ones you took out? The ones you took out you put back in that bag with your 6million year old flashes. I checked all my bags and i don't have any batteries. If you did lose them - Get eneloops!!!! You'll never be changing after them i tell ya! Recyle time will be SO much faster on your 6million year old flashes. If there not, i'll pay for the eneloops thats how good they are. Jay - Ahhh ok. I got a question for you. Obviously graffiti isn't done in publicly lit streets (Well pieces like yours). Do you go out to these random places by yourself and do you ever sh!t yourself??? Some places look so dodgy!!! I'd be sh!tting myself!!!!!

I really should just write a layer mask/adjustment brush tutorial LOL. I've explained this at least 15-20 times haha. But in summary. Crank the levels up/curves so the yellows are brighter and poppier. Down the bottom of the layer palette is a camera look icon. Click this. Change colour palette to black and white (Shortcut key: D). X changes between primary colour & secondary. "Paint" in what you want selectively. Or you can press CTRL + I (on PC) or Command I (On mac) and this will invert the mask so it will be your original image still and then you can just paint the flower (Easier for you as you only want to do a little bit of the image not the entire image). In lightroom: Go to the develop tab At the top underneath the histogram, click the brush. Make sure you choose exposure, paint the flower with the brush. I think its the same in lightroom as PS, to increase brush size is the ] key and the decrease is the [ key. You can then slide the exposure around once you have found what you want. You can then paint in extra contrast etc etc... Hope this helps

Maybe we flushed it for you? Tip: Use a black light. Clutch - I think it looks good. Really moody. Maybe you can use a layer mask and brighten the flower up so the yellows pop a bit more?
-
That looks really col Jay! Only just noticed it now. Did you do the graffiti as well? I assume you did judging by your comments? Owen - Maybe piss turns glow in the dark when its baked into the paint? Who knows. Have you checked your oil lately? We may have drained the sump...accidently of course! Or maybe we stuffed your girlfriend into the fuel tank... But that's a bit far-fetched.

It will appear once you clean your door handles and headlights

Nice! It was a filthy pig on saturday lol.. Also is it just me or does your front 1/4 not line up with the doors?

In that case (I only speak for Canon and my experience with Canon), i would get a 550D (I checked and it uses SD cards). Or PM Owen, the guy with the blue R33 whale, he just bought a 550D. Will do everything you want it to do. That way you will still have a fair bit of dosh left over for a quality lens like a 17-40L lens or something along those lines from Sigma/Tokina. Seeing as you want to shoot scenery/motorshows and wildlife, i assume you want a semi wide angle lens for taking photos of motorshows/scenery and then you'll need a long telephoto lens for wildlife.
-
He can't have the 7D because it uses CF memory cards. So does the 50D. I THINK the 500D/550D's are SD cards now??? Possibly the 60D as well, i cannot remember. I think its better if you sell your SD cards and move to something with CF. They are MUCH faster than SD cards and will open up many more cameras that you can use. What kind of photography are you doing/want to do? Is that just $2K for a body and then XXXX amount of money for lenses or $2K for both? Do you want accessories also? E.g. CPL, ND filters, flash etc..
-
Are you obsessed shooting wide open now Owen lol. Stop down a bit to something like 2.2 or 2.8 to get the best sharpness if you want creamy bokeh stylez. Otherwise stop down to f/4 f/5.6 to get the best sharpness out of the lens. Looking good. Oh and yes... We pee'd all over your door handles................................................ Nah, Matt will post the photo up sometime soon and you'll see what i mean. And lolz0rz at 50sec recycle. 3 seconds on the 580 FTW.

Your "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!?!" was classic. It reminded me of a year 7 kid or something being on the verge of tears after getting hung from the flag pole copping a massive wedgie. We took some shots of your car downstairs and were idiots with it. IT was fun. We also tested our flashes on each others eyes numerous times resulting in the proven winnah!!! Canon 580EXII poo's all over old school manual flashes! Haha. P.s. Karuso impressions are full of win over bond!

So much pr0n... I could of seriously taken photos of this 24/7. So much want!!! Thanks to the owner for letting me take so many photos of it haha.
-
I was going to slap you too, but decided that you were pretty freaked out after Matt slapped you and didn't want two slaps in a row. Your missus looked horrified as well lol..

Edited this one from saturday only cause i needed a photo for project 365

+1!!!! 4 hrs sleep is killer.

OR you could go back in a few months and shoot it at f/11 with a ND filter so that you don't create barrel distortion/show every single bit of dust on your sensor

Yah, i understand the "tab" thing for english, but for a website, i think you can do without it. If it looks odd, it looks odd. Doesn't matter if it's proper grammar and punctuation lol. CHANGE IT GODDAMIT! Owen - Sounds like a plan. We'll burn your eyes out using you as a test subject I got my ABN using my name and as a sole trader. I think i did put in "Kory Leung Photography" as a business name, but i am trading under my name i think. Can't remember. Either way, i got it lol. Ben - That first pic is really really moody! Love it! The 2nd one is really dramatic too. You've got an eye for shots, keep it up mate!

Hey Nick, I use LR 3.2 and it's friggin awesome. Direct uploading to facebook/flickr/smugmug is great because i dont have to export to photoshop and edit them all individually like i normally do and then upload to flickr. That's the main reason i use it and also i use LR to rate my photos and cull them from events/things i attend or take photos of. Great organisational tool. I don't like bridge because i've always used LR, but bridge is a great tool - Just personal preference. Also - I don't think Owens flash will work because it can't be put in slave mode (by the look of it). the built in flash will only fire pre-flashes. Which are extremely low power but enough so that it will trigger your OCF flashes. Your OCF flashes will fire once they have detected the pre-flash. the pre-flash will not be able to be seen in the photo. I thought there was a simpler way, i shall investigate further! Jay - Sweet shot! Looks friggin awesome from a P&S! And i'm a camera Nazi-racist!! Just kidding. But seriously, Canon. Haha. Matt - Website is looking good. Try to get an ABN and get a .com.au domain as well as a .com and setup a 301 re-direct. That way you own both domains. I don't like how the first paragraph for the text next to the image is left aligned, yet the second paragraph is right aligned, i think it should both be the same if you know what i mean? Set up a contact page! They are not hard. You don't even have to do the php coding, just download a template of a contact form off the interwebz. Will be much better than just having a "Contact" and your email below it. Will be more professional. Have you thought about integrating a blog? Wordpress is free and simple to set up. With the theme you have going, you could just make the entire background black and it would look just the same as your website. Make sure it opens in a new tab though, that way people don't get re-directed and have to navigate back. This will most probably cause them to just exit your site. If your marketing yourself as an automotive photographer, i suggest in your portfolio it has nothing besides automotive shots. No landscapes etc... This would be where a blog could come in handy where you could post your landscapes here or create a seperate page in the "galleries" and just have landscapes in there. In your "featured cars" would you prefer the list to be going down or the list to go across like 3-5 shoots in a row? Is there a reason in your "event galleries" there is 4 seperate pages of SAU's Texi day? Are these every single photo you took ( i assume so) or just the best from the day/reasonably sharp/composition is good bla bla? Overall - I like the layout and the website, just pointing out a few things. Well this is a friggin long ass post. Enough from me.
-
Hahaha Jay - Canon FTW!! Yep pilot button would be the test fire button as well as telling you that it is ready and re-cycled ready to be fired. So used to seeing an LCD on the back lol... TTL LED light would be to advise you that you are in TTL mode (Through-The-Lens) mode A.k.a. Auto mode. The flash predicts how much power is needed and what zoom to use. Looks pretty simple from there. I assume there would be TTL mode and Manual mode. When the TTL LED is not lit up it is in manual mode.

Another reason why Noinkon sucks!! Hahahaha.
