  12. looking forward to this, my first car, which i still have as a run around was a R31 pintara, i managed 4 12's in that, amazing the amount of people that dont bother to go for good sound in there skylines ! its a MUST !
  13. definatley not worth it! i am using 2 eclipse in 10's in a total of 1.9cuft(for the pair) sealed and it goes around 137's
  14. well thats what i am trying to get an understanding of, say if they now call a GT30 a GT3071 blah blah blah, so i can hurry up and figure out wat turbo i want
  15. alright so with me not being so familiar with the new range, as i was with the old, just been looking at our sponsers offer (CRD) with the gt3071r and the gt3582r. can anyone compare these with the old series, i.e GT30, GT35, GT3540 etc
  16. was on the garret website earlier last week and was just looking for specs on the GT30R/GT35 and could find anythin and realised the must have a new range, can anyone enlighten me to some products that are equivelant to these 2 turbos
  17. as stated in my first post, it is going on my new R33, basically the only reason i was looking at highflowing the the t3 is because i have one, sitting in the shed doin sweet FA and read in the RB25 mod thread about a bloke doin 250 odd kw on pretty low boost with one. At the end of the day my goal is too see between 250-270rwkw safely with the auto. By what i have read, these figures arent all that hard to acheive with a 25 and also with the auto, with a few supportive peices of hardware. Generally as i am only a young bloke i am not made of millions and the cheapest way is the best way
  18. run a microtech me self, in both cars, VL turbo(400rwhp) and the skyline which is virtually stock. Chris Dalton from Dalton automotive in Geelong Vic tunes the cars and they have proved to be an out standing unit especially with chris's years of experience in tuning them. i personally would go the microtech way! plenty of quick rotors with them, but there is also a alot of hell bent quick piston power machines out there with them too !

  20. 140's aint hard, done it in my 33 on the weekend, 2x10s 500rms haha. my wishlist is highflow fmic front pipe injectors f/pump 240-250kw AUTO!

  22. they have a .63 rear end, and generally are a larger turbo than the factory r33 item, so to me, it only makes sence that larger to start of with means a larger highflow?
  23. bought a skyline recently( off my old man ) its pretty much stock with only a catback ex, pod, microtech ECU. being tax time i am looking at changing that a bit. currently got a T03 turbo from a VL in the shed and was think of getting it highflowed and putting on the liner also with the addition of a FMIC, front pipe, highflow cat and fuel pump. my question is, many people here ventured out there and used one on there skyline? how do they perform? cheers mick

  25. what condition are the plastic A pillar trims in? do you still have them how much ?
