I saw a black, Possibly gray Ceffie in emu plains near penriff last week, I almost mistook it for a silvia at first. Its the only one I have seen out west sydney It had lots of shtickers on it - anyone know who's it is?

I can back up Lukes 33,000 ceffie. The first thing I said to him was that is the "cleanest ceffie I have ever seen, Its got the original steering wheel!" I bought mine fully modified and its had some issues, which im sure is because in japan it probably had better stuff on it which they just replaced with shitzer parts when it came out here, but in comparison to the cost of building one with the mods I have in Australia It was a great deal. engine and gearbox conversions are F#%$ expensive so its nice when you don't have to do it

Well the start of figuring out why my car runs like shit begun last week, The turbo is on its way out - the impeller is loosened up and starting to rub on the houseing and its only a matter of time before it breaks and sends blades through my engine... So a new computer and turbo is in order - I have done alot of reading about just getting the rb25 one hi flowed and rebuild but this seems to cost between $1500 and $2000, might as well just buy a brand new turbo. Im not trying to get rediculous high end power I'd rather low end the car being a drift car. What can anyone recommend? The GT2530 seems like a reasonable option good price and about the power output I want anyone put one on an Rb25? I have been searchin the forums reading all sorts of mixed results, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh and great news about getting your car back Nic!

Woa! gas strut reconditioning/replacement is possible?!?!?! I can finally get rid of the broomstick from the boot! Trusty broom never lests the bonnet fall though...

That was a fun day despite my car giving a megre half assed effort on the dyno but we'll get that fixed Oh and - mmm yum cha. Makes me happy in the pants. We have to get together again sometime for a cruise - the short cruise to and from the dyno were fun - So many ceffies! I still need to see Ceffos ride

I have 235/40/18 on mine heres a pic for your veiwing enjoyment - I just threw these on and didn't roll any guards, they don't scrub at all - but there is a possibility that it was done before I got the car.

domocrazy cakeworks just went to bed... I went with him today to check it out. $780 for Exedy button clutch. Looks very nike, pretty colours, shame no one sees it but cool none the less. I picked up a 700x300x78 FMIC and we spent the arvo puttin that in, 5 till 10 to be exact but she works sweet as a little test drive showed she held 1.0bar nicely which is sweet compared to the old rubbish dented leaky cooler I had. So we are both pretty much up for the event and we'll meet at chatswood too, coz I have NFI how to get to wherever it is... but the pictures will lead me to chatswood at least how could they go wrong?

Gimmie a date and I'd be down, my ceffie is back in the land of going sideways and I'd like to know how she'll stack up to you lads on the dyno

Okay who here, and be honest, had their ceffy at byron on new years? I drove mine up from syd but made sure it stayed outta town on the night - but I saw 3 others there also and im just kinda curious whos they were? I saw a grey QLD plates one a couple of times. It had 601-somthin' on the plates from memory you came an parked next to me for a bit and was was going to chat you but you didn't get off your moby phone and im not the interrupting type. Either way fantastic New years up there and I hope that everyone else had a good one too!

Oh and who's comin to oran park this friday the 17th?! Im gonna go with a mate if the ceffie is still sickly but it would be good to meet a few of you lads there!

Hey! Woa, all these replies, I acually moved house so i have been without the net for a month - strange times for me... I got an immobiliser installed a few weeks ago and got my custom turb manifold welded up coz it had a few cracks (thanks cef11e) and I was talkin to a mech about the idle (650RPM) and he assured me there was nothin to worry about with the ilde if it had been runnin' happily for 4 months like that. Why im on the net at my local library now? two days ago, the cef ran into so serious electrical fouls - It cuts out as soon as the motor warms up - Just cuts the fuel, pump the accel and it somtimes comes back and you can limp the car to a safe place to stop. Im guessing its a messed up temp sensor somewhere? which one who knows... I still get plenty of fuel pressure wich says its not a fuel delivery issue with the pump... So 3 mechanics later and no one can figure it out - So im goin to shell out $$ getting it dyno checked by a perfomace mech with the right equipment to test the ecu. and hopefully all will be well again. Thanks for all the replys! and I shoukd be a regular forumer in about a week when i get my new net connection hooked up!

My car is also running a little rough but it will be there, trackside, watching, like me... Neglected. And where were you guys last month!?!? I was the only ceffie driver there, at least with a ceffie in the car park. I need some more wheels before I destroy the ones I have I also need to fix a little suspension creak - So until thats done, no sideways action

I had a drive of a fully SICK burgundy one the other day, it was full FAST AND FURIOUS stylin's "wif the mad sick vinals down da side" it was a little gutlass to drive though... Just kiddin' Jimmy!

hey guys, I have an Rb 25 in my ceffie, and just recently every now and then seemably at random my motor just shits itself and looses power stalls, but if im quick and flick it into neutral and rev it a little, it will keep going as long as I don't let the revs drop to idle. Now this little siezure will last about 30s to a minute whilst I think my car is dead and im looking for a spot to bail by the side of the road. I pull over keep it going or even let it stall, then a min later and it will start and drive perfectly like nothing ever happened. It doesn't matter whether the motor is hot or cold but it only started in the last two weeks or so in this wet weather so I think that may have somthing to do with it. Has anyone had anything similar happen with their Rb25s? I also noticed these tubes coming from the head have a little oil in them for the first time ever and this problem started cropping up - not my engine in pic and my tubes are clear hose thats why ican see there is oil in them. I thought they were oil breather hoses so i figure this is probably fine, but if anyone can correct me please do so! Its the only way I'll learn...
