  2. Hey guys anyone know where to buy headlights, I smashed one (drivers side) in a little drift related incident at oran park. Aside from justjap, who are all out anyone know where to find them - short of ordering one from NZ or japan? iki1288 projector styles, anyone know where to find them or how much? Also needed is the parker light and blinker for the same side. thanks guys

I have seen various threads come up over the years relating to 'what kinda of kit is that?' etc. I think its time to have one with pics and rough prices and where to buy, I had a little search just then and didn't really find what Im looking for... So guys and girls post your kit, what it is and what its worth, and what traders are around for those of us that drift an occasionally mash a bar into a wall and need a new one Ill get the ball rolling with my Autec kit, (possibly a copy) they all look the same to me, see my sig.

Hey guys, as a drifter I love the sport, Haven't yet seen the movie - I will get around to it but My first reaction was that, ALOT of f*ktards are going to get in their cars after seeing this movie and write themselves off and unfortunatly it is already happening and giving the sport many of us love a bad name. Im not pretending to be all high and mighty, I too have done skids on public roads, never really at ridiculous speeds but all the same I have done it, late at night tucked in my own little quiet corners in industrial areas. I know lots of us do. We more or less get away with it too, some of us have lost our car because of it... the concern is when wanna be's see this and go off when they see movies like this which pumps people up... think back to the first two movies - geez there were alot of neon lights popping up under civics EVERYWHERE and this movie will spawn the same thing only much more dangerous - I can actually see the cops and mothers everywhere concerns, coz shit when I heard about this movie these were my thoughts! Tell ya friends to take the dori to the track, it'll make the sport grow and you ain't gonna kill anyone in the process!! GET ON THE DORI.
  5. I had a R33 GTR front lip lyin' around my garage for ages, wrong shape for a ceffy, its on a FC Rx7 now I gave it to A mate down the road... don't know if it'd fit a laurel either - the lip was a bit curvey for a ceffy... but I haven't seen many laurels and I was sticking it under my Autec Bar
  6. Woa... Thats pretty good - Im just curious due to the strapping my car cops, the engine won't last forever and I'd love to know what im in for eventually... I need an R33 Box! Good luck with it!
  7. Thats fat, and owning a tuned car with an aftermarket ECU that'd come in handy on track days... then I would actually know how fast im going down the straights, rather than being "in the 'H'zone" once im over 180

  9. ah you've gone soft!!! I want a daily driver and my car - dori cars aren't the best dailys... Im also a bit over the clunky 2 way, thinking of swapping it over for a cheapo viscous or somthing just for going around then chuck the 2 way in for racing...

Im shocked, long time coming though I remember being in awe when you first popped the hood on that and I was awestruck that you hadn't got it tuned, Good figures on the dyno too!!! I wish I had an RB26 and about $10k to pour into it... In fact I wish I had $50 to pour into my car at the moment

  14. I like the sky80, that looks pretty good, Nice fit. The R34firo though... It might look better with a kit for the rest of the car but as many mentioned the thing looks like a hammerhead way out of proportion! Have people done the 'strawberryface' A31 yet? I guessing it has been I just haven't seen it...

  17. I got my helmet from Cashies, not a scratch on it, cost $60. It has to be the Australian Standards approved, meaning having that lil sticker on it with the red ticks. PS ORAN SOUTH IS SHIT HOT. Its so fast, flatout, I love it.

  19. My car is still on stands in my front yard, I have been doing some drivetrain work and rear suspension work whilst I had it on stands to replace a snapped driveshaft. I have to work tomorrow until 2 pm otherwise I'd be out sliding, so after 2 I'll put it back together and get it off the stands but it might be a bit late by then... we'll see what happens I love seenin the ceffie representation at dori days, theres been a few of late but I haven't slid in a while due to lack of cashola and time off work.
  20. you'll need the banjo bolt from an r32 turbo - If I have read you problem right. I replaced my RB25 turbo, well got it highflowed and rebuilt with a GT28 bb centre and I needed to find a new oil feed banjo bolt, I ended up getting one machined up for me, cost $4. The Horizontal banjos are your coolant In --- Out, and the top is your oil in, and on the bvottom is the oil dump pipe. If your going to replace the turbo at home, make sure when everything is in you at least test the oil flow, if the oil don't flow your engine is gonna f**k out in record time. Disconnect the Ignigter box, unplug the oil dump pipe on the turbo and then turn the key for a couple of turns to crank the engine, as long as the ignition is disconnected the car won't start - and you don't want it to. If a bit of oil comes out of the dump pipe its flowing, plug it all back in for a careful drive up the road. I use the motul in my ceffy Used to always use 8100, but find the 4100 turbolight starts better. Goodluck! PS true, over boost ceramic and they shatter and you get the fun job of digging ceramic turbine blades from your engines innards
  21. I have an Rb25 Powered Ceffy that is, when money and time off work permitting gets drifted. Heres some drivetrain stuff that I don't think was mentioned. Ceffies use an S13 cradle for the diff, If your going to chase power or dori the car get an R200 diff from an S13 or S14, it will bolt straight in and has 5 stud drive shafts which will handle alot better than the standard 4 stud stockers - this being said I did shatter the 5 bolts on my left hand drive shaft and make a mess of it yesterday. The drive shafts from an S13 fit. Which makes parts easy to get hence my car is back on the road as of lunchtime today so shattering the driveshaft wasn't the end of the world. Go the 5 stud R32 Hub conversion, Im sure there is threads buried here about it, its very easy to do all bolt on stuff, but on the rear youll have to bend and cut the drum metal shrouding stuff... Hard to explain but as far as I know its doesn't come off... Thats my 2 cents on driveline stuff, its good to upgrade it all it will save some headaches and isn't very expensive to do. I went from a N/A subarooo awd to the ceffie, my first RWD car not to mention ridiculously overpowered for a novice povo like myself but I never looked back not even after the several near crash experiences in the first week of ownership (it was raining all week, drift cars and rain = fun, unless your completely new to the RWD oversteer thing then its F***ing scary ) Since the ceffie I have driven loads of hi powered cars, and the consensus is, high boosted nissans f***ing rock and we are all on these forums coz we have the same problem with car related addictions
  23. Hey guys, after the front ender I also bent this puppy a little, but more tore some bolts out of the chassis then realised it wouldn't simply be a task of re tapping them. So im after a new one of these - I don't know what its called - castor rod mount? I need the drivers side one. Does anyone have a front cut lying around with one of these intact? I was reading the forums that Just Jap have ceffy front cuts so I will ask them next but I wanna know what its called so I make sure im asking for the right thing. You can see the damage at the top where it meets the chassis... Any help would as always be greatly appreciated! Cheers Dave B) Edit: pics arent working... WHY GOD WHY!?!?! In the case of the pics not working its the bit that connects to the castor rod and the chassis, then it goes out to the front of the subframe - the radiator sits on top of it.
  24. Good to hear tom! We do need to organise a day trip or something... I can relate to the cefiro issues - One week Blew the diff out - Then hit a large lump of sandstone on the edge of the road. Now I have to get the front subframe cut, bashed and welded because its out 12mm which has pushed the right castor rod back and stuffed the way the wheel sits... 12mm sounds so little but stuffs up so much. We should all have another dyno day some time!
