  1. I drove 2 fridays ago, and im drivin tomorrow aswell, im getting there as soon as I can after work (BIG CRAPOLA WORK DAY PLANNED THOUGH... ****!) I think it kicks off at 5:30 till 9:30 but im always late due to havin to work... But my names on the roster and my car has drift tyres on now + a boot and back seats full of tyres! Its gonna be hella fun!
  2. Hey CC your Cef is going again now I take it?? You should come drifting at oran every second friday night fun had by all!!!
  3. I run 235/40/18 on all fours, whilst reversing at full steering lock the front wheels rub on the plastic at the front of the wheel arch
  4. Deviat Unlucky about the engine, but an RB25 could be, wait no, IS the true solution to this problem- coming from a VERY biased Rb25 ceffy owner. Come along with CC and you can see all the different setups we all have! Talking to too_much_boost at oran drift meet last fri night, I agree we can figure out an alternate route if no one is up for bells line - I don't care where we go, Last ceffie cruise I went on was 15 minutes to Cromer Exhaust for the dyno day then to chats for yum cha and that was good fun.
  5. CC - I live (unfortunatly) close to penrith I drive my ceffy through there every day to work and yes on a thursday or a saturday night Maccanats @ panthers is rediculous with the amount of wankers in modified cars (mostly civics with sports zorsts and BIG TACHOS! bro.) but the cops aren't a problem, especially on a sat morning. Especially considering all the ****suckers that pull smoke shows there on thursdays and saturdays, somehow they get away with it... so i think a bunch of us waiting to meet up there won't be a problem I have never been pulled over in penrith in the cef. Been pulled up in the mountains a few times though... Lousy mountains...
  6. I saw a maroon Ceffy with P plates at the Fatz Drift day at oran park last sat (21st May) but the driver was no where to be seen and it didn't hit the track while I was there anyway...
  7. Woooo! All Sounds good to me! I'll be there at 10:30. Just to narrow the area down a little, panthers carpark is absolutly Massive so we'll meet between Krispy Kremes and maccas - that sounds vague, but when your going down the main driveway you'll see where I mean.
  8. Due to a buisy work schedule and a horribly crippling GT4 addiction (at least I have an f1 car now) I ahve finally got back on to the forums... Hey I like the idea of the 4th how about we meet at penrith or somthing like panthers carpark then we can go pretty much anywhere from there. Up bells line of road to lithgow and back down? South to the gong thats a straight forward easy from penrith? Im with deviat so who else is up for the 4th???
  9. Sorry to anyone who was waiting for me to make a decision (your all very capable though  ) between a buisy work schedule and a crippling GT4 addiction I haven't been on the forums of late. Now I have an F1 car on gt4 and im in a comfort zone I can put the controller down... Who wants to go on the 4th June? Say meet at Penrith Panthers car park, then we can go pretty much anywhere we like from there, West out bells line of road to lithgow and back or south to the gong is a very easy straight forward drive... im open to suggestions! So whos up?
  10. Well the weekends mid to late may lokin good. For those who wish to know that is the- 14,15, 21,22, 28,29. Most of us can come on any of those weekends and quite frankly I don't mind putting it off a little while so people like CC can come also to accomodate those who need organise to have a day off.
  11. i could see the anzac weekend being bad for a cruise, besides there was drifting to be done on the saturday at eastern creek so that was all the driving I was going to do for the weekend The lame calandar I drew up still stands the same until more people pm me too so lets get some enthusiasm!!! Also some more suggestions of where to go - I can't think of everything, I am simple folk.
  12. Okay, Pm me with dates that all can come so that as resin suggested can set up dates that as many of us can agree on as possible
  13. I like the gong Idea, go to the gong for a BBQ and come back again would be sweet as plum. So the 25th Is a public holiday, cops out in force which sucks but most of us won't be hooking it anyways - but who's rides are defect magnets though? I'd be in for a cruise on the public holiday on the 25th if others are game?
  14. I know what Daveo is talking about my ceffie gets beached, JIC suspension and a 2way, I jack the car up from behind the front wheel and 3 wheels come off the ground! I love my suspension on smooth roads but... our roads generally suck so its annoying at times!
  15. As th others have said, You really need to look into firstly, tunable computer PowerFCs a good start, then injectors, then turbo prolly aim for larger than a Gt25... maybe a Gt30. Just do your research it helps indefinatly. I have an Rb25 with a hi flowed custom made type of Gt25 and im only just pushin 221rwkw car has great response (being a drift car thats what I aimed for) but on the 2l smaller block that you have you'll need a good turbo manifold to spool a bigger turb and more fuel to the mix to turn out that kinda power.
  16. HECKTIC4DOOR I like the bathurst Idea, although the track is more jailbait than 15 yr old girls. Bells line of road is a great drive, the second day I got my car working I went up to bell for a swim. I'd also be up for the gong too, some great driving around there but I don't know the area, im easily pleased and will drive anywhere -short of byron although I do love byron but I need a week of work for that Northern beaches? - coz im aware a fair few of you guys are northershorites I wouldn't be too keen on going much further than 2 hours or so from the city. that'd be my limit
  17. Okay guys after reading the spotted thread and finding no one had started a thread for the sydney cruise im doin it! Lets go some suggestions Time Place to BBQ or not to BBQ? My car now works perfectly and I'd like to see some of you again and meet some more of us "rare breed" ceffy drivers
  18. I got the wolf of a user on this forum in the for sale section, it was in QLD, now it resides in NSW It only got tuned 3 days ago, I found the tuner on the wolf website as one of the distributers - I was in a bit of a panic at first looking for tuners... The car runs beautifully with the wolf in and tuned, with the exeption that it won't idle on a cold start but im sure thats just a tweak that needs adjusting and usually within 1 minute of driving its happy to idle at the first set of lights I hit. I'll get that fixed up in the near future anyways.
  19. 271rwhp RB25, Hiflowed turbo with GT28 cartridge, 9psi, wolf3d, SX fuel reg, pod, custom turb manifold, 3" full zorst, 680x300x78 FMIC, oil cooler... Need bigger injectors for more boost, so much of my turbos potential is wasted here, anyone got any suggestions on a good injector upgrade?
  20. Ah the cable ties comp, My car so wins this... my drift ceffie came from japan with (these are the ones noticable. and we're not counting the ones that are in fact being used for their indended purpose, tieing cables. 2 holding front grill 4 big ones holding the oil cooler in + 2 metal brackets 4 holding the number plates on I have added the required screws. 10 holding various body kit components on. 3 holding a cold air funnel intake in place. = 460 points This is nothing to be proud of... If cable ties weren't invented my car would be in pieces. In fact most ceffies would be. Although nothing has ever fallen off the car, and if it did I didn't know about it and ain't missing it!
  21. Kursed the rims look bling and when the air struts are in and shes dumped it will look very limoesque as you put it -Keep the dream alive!
  22. Deviat Mine came with the Rb25 in it already, I can imagine it'd be a bit of a costly operation to do in Aus, but the car does hall arse with the Rb25 Go the whole hog and build a cefzilla! Rb26! :kick:
  23. I have an Rb25 and have read this entire thread. I also have this problem, but I think mine may be a little different, my Idle is 900rpm when at normal operating temp then if I hit the gas and rev it to say 5000 then let it go it will drop to 400-500 then gain back up. If the A/C is on the car will stall. Heres the strange bit if im aproaching a set of lights and I put the cluch in and just brake to a halt the car will stall, same if I flick it into neutral and roll to a halt. But if I leave it in gear till the last second before I stop then put the car in neutral or just the clutch in the revs will happily jump back to the 900rpm mark. I recently replaced the ECU with a wolf3d and it works a charm for everything but the idle. Im sure its not the ECU because I had this problem with the stock r33 ecu aswell the only difference is it seems to stall quicker withthe wolf and I have less time to catch the revs and stop. Why is it only if the car idles while moving do I have a problem? can anyone think of anything that can narrow it down?? Cheers Dave
  24. Wooo! CC we gotta have a cruise day. My new turbo is in its just getting tweaked (new braided feedlines) and then tuned with the new computer so im itching to get out and have a thrash! I got the Rb25 rebuilt with a GT28 cartige and Hiflowed (apparently good for about 400-450hp) and a plug and play wolf3d. I just talked to my mechanic and it should be ready tomorrow
  25. WOA! it looks like mine!!!! and Im a Dave too!! I have also payed in total $13500 for car and mods! That shit's just creepy. Love ya front bar - our cars are the same colour the blue grey that looks blue on a sunny day, Love it. nothing but restepta for the ceffie Good buy
