I think you'll need alot more then that. If you look at how rev got a 13.4 he did alot more then you and still only got that. It'll take alot more to get under 12.

Yeah well just wondering what would be the best way to get the best times to launch an Auto. I can think of a couple of ways: 1: Put it in Neutral, rev to about 3000rpm and when it goes green dump it in drive? 2: Hold the brake pedal with the left foot and then still rev to 3000rpm and when it goes green let go off the brake. Does this method actually spool the turbo up though? 3: Same as 2 except with park brake. 4: High stall to always give 3000rpm when idling? Apart from 4 being obvious, what else would be the best method to use? Or have I missed something? Perhaps shifting from 1st to 2nd to 3rd then drive manually? So what do you guys with Auto's or experience with launching auto's reckon?

If I have a S-AFC and a EBC should I still bother about possibly getting a PowerFC in the future? Would it be that much difference? Or does the PowerFC also do the S-AFC's job?

Yeah just went to JB they had the JVC-S985 for $489. I asked can you do it cheaper. He said $450. I said well you had it for $400 before Xmas (Had no idea if this was true, heh).... then he goes alright $430. And I took it! $60 off and $110 of RRP aint bad for this unit. Also I was also looking at the next model up the one with the flashy screen and all that bs and he said it wont be as good cause it only outputs 2V preamp whereas the 985 does 4V. Can someone tell me what the difference would be? Does it mean the amp doesn't have to amplify as much sound?

Ah ok... so can these be turned off/on within the console? How are the applied? Or is a whole new turbo needed? So it basically just keeps the engine above 3500 rpm the whole time?

So how does a hi-stall help? Exactly what is it? I have an Auto, but yeah its not the same as a manual but still not bad. Be good to be able to modify the trans in some way. What else can be done to a auto trans?

So running 14psi isn't possible without a FMIC? Running 12 would be a safe bet? Maybe 8psi for low and 12psi high?

Check your Alarm manual. It should say if it has support for Turbo Timers. Some dont. If it does you should be able to connect the wire to the back of the TT. There will be a pin for this.

I guess though it doesn't count the reaction time. So you should probaly add .7 secs or so. Im not sure what people's standard reaction time is. What do people usually get as a reaction time?

Yeah thats true finding a clean stretch of flat road isn't that easy. But do you think the reading it gives sounds fairly accurate?

Just wondering about the acuracy of the 1/4 Mile and the 0-100 Timer readings that this thing gives. Are they fairly acurate? And how do they actually measure this? By the wheel rotations?

What about Alarm's and stuff? Surely a good car alarm and immobiliser would deter 95% of car thefts. How many cars actually get stolen that have decent alarm's in them?
