Is the ring gap to big?? this could also cause this problem. It has happened to a friends car before, same thing white/grey smoke after giving it a bit and it was the ring gaps. It eventually made the engine go KA-BOOM!!

I think they are saying things like the crank and cams etc are stronger as they are half the length therefore more ridged.

What is the condition? How many K's has it traveled and what sort of power will this turbo make?

I can get up the driveway but not into the garage because the driveway is well steep and just flattens out sharpley at the top, causing the car to stop dead on the exahust/chassy rails about 10-20cm after the front wheels. I have thought of a few ways to fix the problem but none of them are very practicle or cost effective (most of them involve a jackhammer and the lip of the driveway lol)

If i was still to get my licence the only car in our household that i could drive (out of 5) would be dads M3... it might be the second fastest (after mine hahaha) but is it just me or does this make no sence? the point is that often (i know not all the time, i have bought everything i own myself) Quite often these performance cars are bought by parents from well off familes. all thats going to happen now is that instead of buying an R33 the kid is going to get an old porsche or variable timing car. alot of the time these cars are faster then the standard R33. Other then this does anyone know what the deal is if you get cought driving a banned car because my G/F is going to have to drive mine and she doesnt get her licence till just after the law comes in. Is the punishment just a hundred dollar fine or is it loss of points/suspention of licence?

it has tomi pistons, GTR crank and GTR rods and supprisingly enough the thing can barley make it up a hill unless it is on boost lol. my mates CA18 with a GT3037S has shitloads more torque lol.

Its basically the same regulations as importing a car. I'm currently importing a few original 1960's Vespa's and i'm having to do it under the 15 year rule.

what ecu is it running now, if it has a standard one on then that could quite possibly be a problem, also bleed valves arn't the most reliable of things

i have an RB23DET with some mods and even with a 2535 turbo the think was a weapon, still had no torque but who cares once your on power you cant compare.

i was making 240rwkw with GTR injectors and fuel pump and the car was tuned just into the safty zone (97% duity or something) have just replace the gear for any bigger numbers.
